great job, I always wondered what a compressor looked like inside. thanks
I have the same air compressor ... Thanks for sharing 🛠🤗
I have a similar compressor, (ridgid) and my compressor was leaking oil. couldn't find the gaskets so I made them out of #30 roofing felt paper. worked like a charm, and as for the engine shutting down I had that same issue, adjusting the idle governor did the trick for me. it's a small screw that's between the filter and the carburator.

Eso es más lógico que echarle mecánica ya son dos comentarios iguales
Where did you ordee the gaskets from? I'm looking to sandblast and coat mine because it's getting rusty and the place I saw had it, but was pretty expensive, thanks.
Don't keep me in suspense like that. Hahaha. Jk. I can't wait to see part two. This thing better work. I still can't believe you paid $50 for it. Wow.
Hello! I'm working on a electric jenny air compressor that leaks air only when is running. Do you have any suggestion of what do to it ?? Thanks on advanced
At 2:57 the top of the cylinder on the right has brown oxidation that looks like air was escaping from between the parts. Looks like your head is warped!
sooo wheres part 2? was that the problem? does it work?
Your check valve leaking is probably causing the engine to stop at idle, because of the back flow pressurizing the compressor head
When you spin the compressor what does it get caught on? It seems like it get to a spot that you have trouble turning it
Shouldn't you have oiled up the gasket before you installed it?
Your voice kind of reminds me of Thomas Haden Church.
The pump blocks are not steel they're usually all cast iron or aluminum with cast iron cylinders
In the future,,use fine sand paper layed on a peace of glass and sand the valve discs ,have to be flat and even to seal,,,,and you went so far ,shame not to change piston rings and hone the cylinders ,because it was oil not carbon on top of piston getting past the oil rings,,,carbon comes from firing off fuel in a combustion engine,,,but you do good work otherwise...the ring change would improve your CFMS..
This looks real vintage... I would replace this with a newer One

There's a reason why they say that "They don't make them like they used to" lol Everything is made cheap and disposable now.
