How To REALLY Super Clean Your Car or Truck | 1980-96 Bronco F150 Dynamat Sound | Bronco Restoration

Hello,
This video demonstrates how to REALLY super clean your car or truck. The truck in this video is a 1990 Ford Bronco Eddie Bauer edition. Since the truck was completely torn down I took the opportunity to apply sound deadening to most of the bare metal, came out very nice!

Wow man that is so sick all that all that soundproofing is pretty impressive. I can imagine you used a bunch of it I remember getting my truck 10 years ago and taking all the trim and seats out to do a deep clean but wow you spared no crack or crevice there buddy ~95BroncoXLT 5.0 E4OD/456 gears lim slip frnt&rear And just a tip in case you don't already know watch out for all the wires that can get chafed and create a short. a lot of them are on circuits that include the transmission. So if it ever goes into limp mode on you out of the blue, it could be your third brake light/ it could be the wire running horizontally above your windshield; behind the head trim (sharp metal trim) or the wire your around your dome light

How on earth did you cut the butyl sound deadener so accurately? I have lots and lots of triangular/small pieces to fill the odd shapes. End result is the same but looks really nice the way you got everything cut so well and used big pieces mostly. Halfway through the same job myself on my 94 Eddie Bauer.

Are the bolts rusted in place? Soak them in penetrating oil for a couple days. If they break off you will have to drill them out, then use stainless nuts and bolts with lock washers.

If the headboard is good then you can purchase just the material and 3m adhesive spray. Remove the headboard out of the truck and rip off the cloth headliner, clean and apply the adhesive and new material. Or you can purchase a new headboard with headliner pre applied from ACME interiors. I will be doing the latter as my head board is slightly damaged.

Yes, I was able to carefully reuse the original hogrings (did not cut them off). Was tricky and time consuming but well worth it. The seats need the hog rings. To make it easier buy a set of hog ring pliers and a box of hogrings. I used needle nose pliers, but again took forever.
