By the way, A Crowley is not as dark as others who many follow today! His teachings were just very progressive in the period of time that he excelled in his work. He was not specifically evil or dark nor was he insane or mad… he was just extremely progressive!

This deck is so powerful and so perfect in the world of tarot that it produces the best readings and most powerful ritual tarot I have ever seen. You’re so correct that this deck encompasses compassion and love for every purpose.

The Haindl tarot is my choice deck scince 2002. It is very complex, I like the ecological theme. It is more complex than the Thoth in that it uses all 64 I Ching hexagrams, runes, elements border colors on the majors, and the court cards depart from tradition with using different cultures for the four suits. Egyptian mythology for the swords, mixed northern European for cups, Native American for stones, and Hinduism for the wands. A rich, technical, beautiful and unique deck.

This is very well done on a subject that gets a lot of arcane mistreatment. Ty for being real. Polite disagreement on amount of Crowley's "presence" in the deck. It's direction relations to thelemic mythology is intimate and pervasive. And look at the Prince of Wands card, the lord of the phallus as Crowley self-portrait. But I appreciate your approach that puts the emphasis on the deck itself independent of designer.
