UPSC Civil Services Exam is one of the most prestigious exams in the country. It has three parts, the Prelims exam, the Main exam and the Personality test, which you need to clear in order to become an IAS or IPS officer. All other Group A services of the Government of India recruit people through the UPSC Civil services exam itself and because of this, there is a lot of competition in this exam. Hence, your UPSC preparation should be strategic, informed and well planned.
Your UPSC preparation should not be based on blind adherence to any program. Rather you should give a thought about how your are preparing. The best way to go forward is to study the blogs and tips given by previous year toppers about how to go about UPSC CSE for all three stages of UPSC Prelims, UPSC Mains and the Personality test also known as the UPSC Interview, and then make your UPSC preparation strategy accordingly.
Doing static subjects like polity, economy, environment, geography and history for your UPSC preparation is a solid bet to increase your chances of clearing this exam. But this must all be supplemented by current affairs for best effect.

Sir me last year se aapko youtube pr follow kr rhi hu aap jo target dete hai kese pdna hai kb kese kojsa subject kitne kam time me khtm krna hai proper trike se aapke diye hue targets pura ho rha hai ,consistency and discipline maintain ho rha hai.... Me hindi medium se hu, sir aap kuch hindi medium me bhi books ya kuch upsc se related comman videos post krna taaki humko kafi help mil jayegi. @@kanchanhungund7221 start with two subjects, mostly people's prefer going with polity and economy as they are more static + current, and then try to make ur goals and targets on a weekly basis this will make ur routine flexible as this preparation is much longer so u can't make daily plans as per hours, u need to work seeing weekly and monthly targets.. And then try to cover the things Like what I do is say in next week I'll set a week target of completing 8th polity of ncert and 9th class eco ncert Likewise I'll proceed further

Sir ji sociology k liye kese prepare Karu personal day to day target chahiye nd November Tak khtm kara do jo fees hogi wo bata dijiye I'm working aspirant 4 hour din k optional ko dekh sakta hu
Sir as I'm doing fast reading of ncert as you told..... So how much time should i take for fast and intensive reading???? I also have to read lost of ncert and reference books, alloting a 2 to 3 times reading for the ncert will take more time.....if I'm wrong please help me with some guidance 😭🙏🙏

Sir, I made my timetable and decided to take break every Sunday but after every 4th day I feel tired and even if I force myself to sit and study, my efficiency and speed decreases and I feel headache and after that demotivation and fear of failure follows. In this way my whole day got wasted thinking about same thing and saying myself "I am not discipline enough and I can't control myself enough" sir I feel low whenever my discipline break, and it break many times in a day. Sir, How can I tackle this? This is happening to me over and over again.

However much time it takes to read them from cover to cover. Don't underline, don't make notes, just note down the name / concept that you didn't understand so that you can check them in the next class.

Sir i had a confusion that whether if the preparation for PUNJAB PCS will help me in UPSC 2025 exam. More over confused that to read and study the traditional on going writers for take a step and read new writers for economy and polity.
Sir I'll be giving exam in 2026 , what's the best strategy for 1.5 year to clear the exam from basic ??

Read article 14, 19 and 21 on indiankanoon and then read the relevant sections from Laxmikanth. Compare the two takes.
Sir , u r saying here 6 to 12 tk ncert books . But jis video me apne important ncert btaya tha , to usme to apne selected btaya tha mostly class 11 and class 12 , waha to 6 to 10 nhi bola tha apne

Even here, I've mentioned you can read those NCERTs fast. Just go through them without making any notes or spending a lot of time on them. The important ones are still the NCERTs from 11-12th.
