How to read dial calipers #1 (BTTB)

Since I got enough comments for a (Back to the basics) content I started the series with a hammer video............ well uh, It hasn't got done yet, but it will. Look for it to be #2 I didn't talk about calipers in detail how to set zero or marking because I wanted to focus on the reading part. If ya'll still want to see this kind of content leave a comment and we will make it happen.

There is also a 4th way to measure with the dial caliper using the front like a depth gauage. It gives you wider surface than thin rail that protrudes from the rear of the slide. Not used very often but comes in handy at times.

Good info! Have used both mechanical and digital calipers. Digital is easier but nice to know how to read the other. Good video!

Verniers are actually calipers with a vernier scale, the old style calipers. These are dial calipers. God bless you!
