A typical multimeter can measure voltage, current, and resistance. It is common to see digital multimeters nowadays, but you may not know much about the original- the analog multimeter.     You did not explain really how to measure electronic component using a analog multimetrer how to set the calibration plus how to get the place value of the of individual points
