Who else is here because of your English class
You are definitely right about reading the play in one sitting. That's how you know it's a good play, too. When you can't put it down. It's like watching a movie. You don't just stop watching midway and decide to finish watching the following week. lol I think simple dialogue drives a play forward and you seemingly forget you're reading.
I loved and learned from Amanda's comments--thanks!
This was very insightful. I am about to dive into reading my first play ever, The Wild Duck
Well said Amanda Watkins
Good stuff!
I am about to indulge into examining a play for the first time. It's called "The Life of Galileo." So thank you for inspiring me, you and Majora Gooden
Thanks for the tips. I want to see more of your dog!

Here before reading Aphra Behn's The Lucky Chance
I'm not used to just reading dialogue and I seem to be stuck reading scripts monotonously. Struggling to really understand or recall much. Any help?
