Hi, I enjoyed this video or was helpful thank you. What were the findings in the first patient? I could see gas in the transverse colon and what looked looked like faecal impaction in the ascending colon? What was the diagnosis?
❤ 🙏 THANK YOU
Hı can you check ascending and descending colon again left dsde should be desening colon thanks
Is this just a regular CT with Contrast you ingest. there is no enema? I am having symptoms i want checked out but don't want anything inserted into my rectum such as colonoscopy or ct colonography. I heard some horror stories. How accurate is it to pick up masses in colon and rectum? thanks
Can this scan with IV contrast locate cancers or masses in the colon, rectum?

Yes, but it's not sensitive for colon cancers (We will miss many of them even if we catch most). Small ones can be easily missed. Stool, non-distended bowel and other factors limit our ability to view bowel diseases compared to other structures (like the liver or kidneys).
