Wings of Mexico is a sculpture designed for public space and to interact with people. It shows the possibilities of human creation and interaction. The wings celebrate victory, dreams and human potential. Standing for the desire of the body to fly, it represents the capability of flying with our mind, going beyond one’s physical capabilities and inviting us to transcend our own limits: a way to escape our physical boundaries.
The Wings of Mexico are on permanent display in Mexico City, Dubai, Los Angeles, Singapore, Nagoya, Madrid and Berlin. Since 2015 a traveling version of this piece has been displayed in Shanghai, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Kuwait, Cairo, Izmir, Ankara, Beirut and Abu Dhabi.
The Wings of Mexico have captivated hundreds of people around the world, making of their original location one of the most photographed spots in Mexico City.
About the artist:
Jorge Marín is one of the greatest representatives of Mexican figurative art. He experimented with different scales in sculpture, spanning from miniatures to monumental pieces which are exhibited all over the world.
He has participated in more than 300 exhibitions and his works have been showcased in galleries and museums in America, Europe and Asia. Beyond the symbolism proper of his artworks, his figures achieve a connection with the public, allowing a relation based on the certainty and the hope produced by his symbols.

Hi, which door should I take from the fountain area. Any name of the entrance? Video was quite fast so couldn’t catch it, otherwise it was helpful.

Hi no need to enter from any door now you can easily walk beside fountain while going towards opera and go to wings just from out side no need to crooss parking or markets thats very easy way once you are infront of fountain ask any of security guy there they will guid you
