Hi, I am also thinking to travel Bali and it’s mine first airline transport too.. so basically we don’t need visa or paper work for the layover airport which is obviously gonna be a different country right.. I mean I am from Chennai so basically I need to go via AirAsia which gonna layover in Singapore, so I won’t be needing any paperwork of Singapore right.. just a query

You will find many local shops for rental scooters or bikes starting from 35K Rp to 100K. Also, try to do some bargaining if you take for one week or more than that. they might reduce the rate.
