That scale is interesting and of course you can strive the rest of your life to gradually become a better person. OR you can realize that the personal perspective is erroneous and jump immediately to the top of the scale: enlightenment. Looking back on any dream you ever had you can realize the personal perspective always was erroneous although each time it took awakening to (be able to) realize it. Consciousness is all there is (in any dream including the dream called life): you just have to awaken to realize your essential nature.
