Jon could easily do what Casey Neistat did with his brother. Make him start his own channel, shout him out a few times - then stop posting on his own channel to starve his fans so they go to his brother.

This brought me back memory lane.. we did the same, just the smells and the “silence” /wood sounds is amazing, and no food taste better than a cheese sandwich and coffee in the pine Forrest! I will tell you young ppl that I have also travelled the world, done amazing things… but what experiences were the best, and what memories is filling me with most joy, is from nature, no doubt! 🌟❤🌲🦔🦫🦉We had several places we used to make fires, good clothes, and food/drink. Tracking animals was really exciting, both summer and winter, see what they have been doing, where they rested, and maybe hunted- so exciting for kids, adults and doggies!🥰❤🐶🦊Just staring into a fire, a little bit just nicely tired in the body, listening to the black bird singing.. Nothing better ever!❤ So thank you, Jon for making this wood video! Big thanks to mum and dad for raising these boys this way!❤👍🏻🌷👋🏻

Love the new vlog set up as we get more of them. I only discovered you in 2020 so I missed the early regular vlogs. I have seen the development from 2016 with Marcus all the way to today but in a much shorter time span so i think i notice a lot of changes over that time. Keep up the good work please.

Fun fact: In that region where Jon grew up it´s common for families to own forests. The county Dalarna had a prosperous copper mine for many centuries ( actually for more than a thousand years). That mine needed a lot of wood. They heated the rock with fires, then poured on cold water which made the rock to crack. Well, they needed wood for many other types of work in the mine as well. The need of wood was huge, so many people in Dalarna sold their forest to the mine company, specially during the middle ages. People in rhe rural areas were served a lot of alcohol and were tricked in to selling their forests to the big company. In the northen and western part of the region Dalarna the peole did´nt fall for the trick. So those people/families own a lot of forests still today.

I enjoyed your adventure in the woods! What do they do in Sweden for protection from bear? In the US we carry bear spray or a large caliber handgun on us while hiking in bear country.
