If you don't want to use No Fail Mode, a way to make it slightly easier without significantly changing the route is to go straight through the slime group at 02:30 to dip into the path to the Eastern Vault and pick up the Lure from the chest to the right of the entrance. You can then use the lure right as you enter the shooting range to give the scavengers with rifles a different target to shoot at.

I may not have tunic, but what i do have is boredom, and so you get a like anyways.

Trying this out as soon as I get home from class, this is one of a couple achievements I have yet to get. Thank you Fury.

I didn't realize the gun was even obtainable until after I was ready to do the final boss. I noticed the manual said it "used a lot of magic" and pointed to a particular spot and thats when I connected the dots that it was actually something I could use.

If you don't wanna no fail it, before you head up the mountain, continue to the left a little and grab the magic staff. The sword enemies are easy enough to take down, especially with the flaming sword ability, just avoid their easily telegraphed swings; then you can use the magic staff to take down the bombers and snipe the gunners from above, then it's clear sailing to the chest.

You can also do this with out the bomb as there is a ladder that goes up just north of the bushes you run thru with a little L shaped cave that puts you at that ladder next to the door. I used the back route and just bombed the envoy on the narrow bridge you can also hit enimies with shield with the fire stick and they still catch fire

😄 great video, I think i saw this game only once before maybe rt gaming? anyway it seemed very charming and now it seems charming and mechanically* interesting

I did a more safer approach since I didn't do No Fail Mode or Stamina Restrictions for challenge purposes. I added some Dynamite to kill the Envoy for the Shield, the grabbed the Bracer and Magic Orb so I could remove the Envoy for the Quarry and activate the save point and the Shield + Bracer allows you to block the Scavenger rifle rounds since their CD is horrendous. The fire stick gets rid of the melee ones effectively as long as you don't get nicked.

Funnily enough I took basically the opposite approach. Went through all the areas before the quarry for better stats and got the scavengers mask so I could get it like normal. At the point I got it I was pretty far into the game so I just decided to finish it without the sword. Made some encounters require interesting strategies because the stick can’t hurt the garden knight, siege engine, and some other enemies. Found it changed up the play through quite a bit which made it pretty fun imo. The heir was pretty rough though.

Also, I have a potential game recommendation. Not very many people know about this masterpiece. It's called the "Kingdoms" Series by Raw Fury, the newest game being the "Kingdoms: Two Crowns" Game. You have probably heard from one of their newer games, called Dome Keeper. I really think you'd love the art style and gameplay aspects of it

Thank you, Rem. I have heard of both Kingdoms and Dome Keeper. I'm not really into tower defense type games, though, so I'm not sure if Dome Keeper is really my thing, despite it looking really cool. Still, I appreciate the recommendation! I'll look at it some more.

For an upcoming thing I recommend turning off the Depth of Field option, otherwise the blurriness is just going to get in the way.

if you shoot the frie and ice ant the same time it shoots an ice bolt that freezes enemies for the same mana cost as a firebolt, it lets you stunlock all of the bosses. its kind of finicky but you can bind both items to the same key to pull it off every time.

I think they patched that out but they added a secret dpad code to reduce mana use for a limited time

im new to the game and i pretty much spoiled myself on a couple of things watching the video cuz i wanted to get this achievement early so its okay; but i wanted to know, how do u get the code for the fire blade door? is there a puzzle behind that or what?

There is a page of the manual that shows you the door code. I forgot exactly when you normally obtain that page, though. It's been a little while since I've played.
