I can't wait for this, as I am dating again after such a long time , I can move differently now , I am taking my time really get to know this man, the core of his soul :) I used to rush everything this is why I am not married yet because of my own wrong doing, giving men my time that did not deserve it. I have a great father but some of our father's did not teach us about men, I just assumed all men are like my father but I was so wrong. My dad was addicted to drugs for the first 28 years of my life. Growing up without that fatherly guidance, acknowledgment, wisdom and love I sure have bumped my own head so many times in search of this “approval” then God spoke, he has given me all of this through YOU Bishop. God said to me, “you may not have the father that gave you life that you have many fathers, including me.” the bitterness, the resentment, all the anger has completely left my body and my energy and I am taking accountability for myself RC. Thank you so much for all that you do to serve the rest of the world you are needed and you are appreciated.

I started asking questions 4 years ago. The look on faces--I really wanted to laugh. Shocked. It also revealed that know one had asked them questions.

You're a bottom feeder if you're wanting me to meet a man he should be asking to meet me instead. I was over 18 by the time he told me either of these things. The second one I was 29 or so. The first one I may have been in earlier 20s.

I’m in my 50’s now, and I have been practically destroyed from be married to narcissist. I saw all the red flags, but i still thought it was ok, because my father was a narcissist. So in that sense, I didn’t know any better. But I now plan on being single for the rest of my life. And I’m ok with that. Because for the first time in my life, I am enjoying my PEACE. But I listen to you regularly anyway. Because I enjoy your messaging. I have grand daughter and thanks to you, I can one day refer them to your teaching when they become old enough to date. I’ve found this to most definitely be true. Time seems to be a teller of things such as this. For many in time the good behavior mask falls off, although I do believe there are still good men. We a women just have to pace ourselves versus hopping into something blindly.

Thank you for the affirmation. 🙏 After my last partner I am no longer comprimising my standards for any man. It is HARD and boring but I can’t continue in these toxic cycles.

I agree, you have to test a man out in different scenarios and situations, ask questions, ask them again but also compare the answers to their actions...... listen to the questions they ask you, especially of there are about your finances or if you have a home and he doesn't, if he is covertly seeking a shelter, while he has never thought it necessary to own or rent anything, in other words, he doesn't have a place to take you too. Observe, listen..... spend time with them and without them, there is where you gain clarity and discernment.........

Even employers qualify prospective employees .. they screen applications, interview applicants several times to disqualify the un qualified and even once hired the employee still goes through a probationary period before receiving all the benefits. & Even after that, you still can’t get certain benefits until you are vested… and even after that the performance is evaluated annually. Yet, you allow someone to prance all up and through your life who is not fully qualified for that critical position in your life. “Stop popping that gum and wipe that grease all off your lips” & get to truly paying attention. Close up them legs and open up those eyes & ears.

Manipulative men have convinced women they are of no value in their single state when single women are the most featured and sought after resource. God gave women value the moment he made us. No one can take that away. A good marriage may amplify your value but very few women have been able to enjoy that.

Men who are NOT for you , or just people in general will Insist that you don’t need to approve of them. Your approval has never been sought after which means it has no value. If you think poorly of something they do or say it’s because it’s above your comprehension or just flat out invalid. They hate your approval because it’s typically for things better than what you already have which is kryptonite to the hater. People who seek your approval value you enough to treat you like you matter. This means displaying emotionally valuable offerings like time, kindness, compassion and support, sacrificing things, arriving early, balancing their goals for you to be a priority. Better to make someone else disappointed and deal with it later than upset you the valuable one. This in tandem with consistency will show you a persons true character. Bad people can never put someone first.

Alone as far as nobody to talk to about it I have family, but I haven't been able to converse with anyone about how I am feeling. I am going to enjoy my singleness too until the boxes are checked :)

Sis, I know how you feel; been there. What I've learned was that my precious gift of a child is my responsibility. And, if the father doesn't take responsibility...that's HIS misfortune. So, I 'pulled up my 'boot straps' (figuratively speaking) and got my 'big girl' self out in the workforce and did what I had to do to support MY child. No, it's not always easy. However, making good choices and doing the rights things pays off, BIG TIME! Praying for you.🙏🏼 The amount of respect and assistance (however small it was) I received was priceless. When others see you putting forth a positive effort and not playing the 'blame game' it speaks volumes of your character.

Thanks for the advice and wise counsel. I've always been good at questions but shared values was a lot more difficult to come by and I was always feeling behind the clock. Thanks for the endorsement of singleness in particular. I think that was the most valuable takeaway for me. Oh and in Trinidad and Tobago 🇹🇹 we say "what sweet in goat mouth sour in he bam bam" that's exactly what you said when you said what feels good today doesn't feel so good tomorrow.

Thanks for this information, now that I know , some of us don’t have men in our lives that are around .

My self worth is non negotiable….I refuse to settle because im aware of what I bring to the relationship so if I’m not met half way I have to leave.

This conversation really needs to be a topic of conversation for men for them to man up in their ways. Everyone is seemingly having conversations pertaining to women in what they need to do but rarely are men made to be responsible pertaining to their character by leaders and or by men in general. I've been told that I intimidate men no I think that's just those who want to play games.

Pastor Blakes, I have been a Registered Nurse for 30 years, and took on the role of parents, uncles and aunts major caregiver for past 15 years. I felt a profound release from needing to be a caregiver about 6 months ago. I have been that "single" person for over 25 year. I have always felt I was in the places I needed to be and the had the freedom to do so. My older sister asked me what I expected to get from being my family caregiver, did I expect to inherit more. She could not understand when I said I do it because I can and do it because of love. I am now doing for me, caring more for my needs and hoping this included finding a quality man. So that said I appreciate you words on qualifying a man. But it was your words about God using the "single" person that validated, released me from justifying the why and knowing I took God's path for my life. I know it is God leading me now to my man. Thank you for your words and message.

I completely understand, because I have provided care for several family and friends since I moved back, because I love them and I wanted to. Sometimes under the surface helping others can be killing the caregiver. I went to my PCP on last week and my blood pressure was 200/194 P89 to my surprise I made it to the doctor just in time. I know now that my peace and well being from this point is my only priority.

It’s been 10 months since I walked away from my last relationship. I happened to come across RC Blake’s video on “Never ignoring a man’s energy”. That video changed my life. It’s exactly what I needed last August 2022. I ended my engagement to my ex. It was the right decision, we are strictly platonic friends now & still serving God separately. Truth be told, I should have followed my instincts when I first met him. I was more intrigued by the superficial but a few years with a person and the truth comes out & I was able to see how we were incompatible for marriage. I praise God for RC Blake’s and Dr. Dharius Daniels, godly men who feed me the wisdom I was missing all of my life, not having the emotional needs met by a father figure. Now I am healing and in therapy, figuring myself out more at 35. Thank You Jesus! ❤🎉😊

This is too real. I Thank and appreciate your wisdom, knowledge and gift that God has given to you for being such a great teacher . I’ve just canceled 2 more suitors (these suitors that ain’t suitable) and likely cutting another one out before the week is over. Fasting and prayer will increase discernment quickly along with good instruction such as this. Sometimes the same person appears in a different body and other times you get that check in your spirit. Wait on God.
