the next Kit that i would like to see is a specific Vehicle/Car Emergency KIT, a really good well thought-out Emergency KIT (that includes a very good Hazard Light to put outside the vehicle when stuck on road/highway), a KIT that is very good/useful for all-year round use when in a car or truck (for winter/summer etc) when needing to repair or when stuck on side of road or highway, or when needing to change a tire or even check under the hood (personally i think a powerful blinking RED Hazard Light and a good NW light would be a very good addition for being under the hood). thanks for this generous Blackout KIT giveaway opportunity, this is an absolutely excellent idea ...we could all use a great Blackout KIT for emergencies these days, thanks so very much !!

Probably a backpack with a pop-up tent for one person inside of it, several days worth of food, lightweight backpacking stove, wate,r solar panel,,flash lights, knife, multitool, saw, toilet paper 550 cord, maybe some books.. enough to sustain you for the 3 days or so, don't need to bring everything in the kitchen sink

Built-in solar powered with sos sound or mode so kid won't be able to open and no need to worry about battery in case of emergency at least got some light till the main light is found.

I commute to work in a high rise building using public transportation and am looking for a "urban survival/short term blackout/get home edc kit." That public transport often fails and I have had to walk through subway tunnels to get out. I've been on trains with scary disturbed or high people. I often have to walk in the dark on streets in blizzards, deal with dead phones and communication devices, even shelter in place at work due to storms like tornados, etc etc etc. I am looking for a kit to get me through my day and get me home. Love your videos...they are super informative.

Hello 👋. Thank you again for another great video! I Love nitecore! I use my old and trustworthy srt7 almost daily! And have many other nitecore products that I Iove as well. I would love to see a an expanded kit that would cover a natural disaster / automotive kit. I live in a hurricane prone area and plagued with power outages, and rare occasions need to evacuate so to have an all in one kit that is versatile for outages, long term lighting solutions as well as safety slash repair lighting for automotive would be a great piece of gear to have!

You guys can give examples of Nitecore lights and batteries that can be stored for a longer time without using, and which lights can be used not only for repairs under the hood (with magnetic models, maybe), but to light the way in case the headlights break, emergency signaling (options in red color?), charging from the car's power socket and so on.

My dog knocks into objects in the dark due to blur vision while the elderly had a hard time finding the way to the toilet at night. Hence, I would highly suggest seeing a motion sensor light kit build. It would be amazing to have one with good battery life, high cri, and good motion sensors. Thank you in advanced.

After being through a blackout, candles, they are best bang for you run time $1 for those candles that burn for like 14 hours, you don't need them to be bright because in a situation with no light, any light is pretty bright. cheap but decent lights that run on aa, aaa, and d batteries. Use the lights sparingly, candles the go to if you need consistent light. Be more worried about water if your pump needs electricity to work. Be worried about heat if in summer like mine was. Hand fans were nice, and baby wipes. Also food, obviously cook the stuff that needs refrigeration. For flashlight worry more about run time on as few batteries as possible than lumens and throw. If you can find a light that takes 1 battery and gives you 40 hours , that's great even if it's something like 25 lumens.

Hi MJ! Great presentation as always. First of all you would have us look for a black bag full of black flashlights during a blackout. I understand the bag should be kept in a handy location known to all. However to make finding the bag easier during a disorienting blackout scenario, perhaps you could include a luminous strap or luminous velcro tape that could be applied to the bag if you didn't want to offer the bag in different, lighter colors. Next, a mini light velcro'ed to the inside of the pack lid so we could see and sort through the contents quickly would be great. Something like a Tube 2.0 or even a Tiki Green glow in the dark. Also a light colored lining inside the bag would help. I think many of us want to be prepared for the worst and an extended blackout expansion kit that included appropriate extra rechargeable batteries, power pack(s) cables/adapters, and a universal multi-battery charger that could run off the power pack(s) would be huge. Can that be done with the UMS4 or D4? Solar charger also a consideration, but not all of us live in sunny climates year around. Something we could charge from a car battery would be helpful. I was at work when an earthquake hit. It was a huge multistory building with extensive inner offices and corridors with no windows. Power went out in the afternoon and the building plunged into total darkness. I mean no light at all. It took awhile for emergency power to come on while the building swayed. I can tell you an emergency blackout kit would have been a wonderful thing to have to aid evacuation from the building. I've also been evacuated from a hotel in the middle of the night because of a fire alarm. Another time I found myself lost after dark in a bad part of a town in former soviet socialist republic. Now I wouldn't get caught in either scenario without at least 1 well charged and bright light. An international travel kit could also be used for domestic trips. Nitecore doesn't seem to sell rechargeable AAs, is that correct? Is there a brand of rechargeable AAs you recommend for use in Nitecore AA lights and UMS4? Thanks! Kind regards, John

Travel or skiing trip or camping flashlights kits. A ski trip usual last for 7 days or maybe 14 days, so at least 2 to 3 might will be spent camping in the snow (not really in the jungle, just outdoor). My opinion 1) the flashlight batteries will have to be interchangeable between flashlight 2) need at least one very powerful flood light and one very powerful spot lights. 3) where to keep the spare batteries to remain dry and not freeze up? 4) a single battery flashlight or a multiple batteries flashlight - considering don’t have to carry too many spares batteries. 5) A quick charger

I would like to see a car emergency kit. From marking your car if it breaks down over to a light for the first aid supply in the trunk up to something floody you can use to get an overwiew when getting to an accident at night, for example.
