Thank you!! Replacing the duvet cover has always been a difficult chore for me! Your method is great!

  • @anFidhlear

Very cool method! Another thing you can add is stitch fabric tape or something of the sort (hell, even shoelaces would work) to the inside corners of your duvet cover. Then when you lay the duvet / comforter on there, before doing the roll and flip, tie the corners of your duvet to the laces. It will help stop the damn thing from shifting around inside the duvet cover. For those wondering: the whole point of a duvet cover is to prevent the actual duvet from getting too dirty. You wash the cover instead of the delicate down-filled duvet. Each individual duvet will have it's own manufacturer recommended care; e.g. wash once a year, dry clean only, etc., which should be followed.

I've never owned a duvet because I always figured washing the cover and putting it back on would be too much of a hassle - now I just might give it a try! The way you shake the duvet w/cover at each corner near the end of the video reminds me of the way I make my pillows fit in their cases. Smart!
