How to put interfacing on fabrics

I am working on a current custom order for my client. The satin fabric needs some extra body, so I decided to put interfacing. Make sure to cut it smaller, then light press, and put the fabric on top before you press, flip, then press and steam! It is always better to test fabrics and do not burn it! Some fabrics especially silks are very sensitive! Happy sewing!

Perfect instruction. What kind of interfacing was it?

I call this “hair cloth” it’s woven. Perfect for woven fabrics :) doesn’t have stretch. It’s also used for suits
