How To Push Pawns And Win Games!
Ойындар
In this chess video we are watching a legendary & historic chess game from 1834. played between two chess giants of that time Alexander McDonnell and Louis Charles Mahe De La Bourdonnais.
In this epic chess game black simply followed the opening principles and he finished the game with his 3 pawns on the 7th rank and promotion & checkmate were inevitable which lead to his opponent resigning the game.
Although historic, this chess game is also super instructive because it shows how important it is to follow the opening principles and take control of the center.

When I was a military cadet many years ago my U.S.Army sargeant instructors would always say that infantry is the "Queen of Battle." This game clearly demonstrates that the pawn infantry proved that centuries old saying with great style! Thank you very much! 🌝⭐🇺🇸

No, en passant is not a forcing move. Other side can take the pawn but you are not obligated to do so.

@@ZDTF He is probably messing with his viewers. You are not obligated to pick up the pawn with en passant rule.😄

@@castlequeenside the iOS salute emoji. I’m new to chess and this has helped me understand a little more than importance of controlling the center and fearlessness in the face of pressure/trades. I enjoy playing aggressively and have been struggling with pushing pawns but I think I have a much better understanding now.
