Thank you for all the great Tips, I'm very new to using the Hollow Hole Punches so I'm experimenting with different materials. All your advice is needed right now, I can't thank you enough Sir. Can anyone recommend a Hollow Hole punch (0.5mm+) that doesn't leave a burr on the exit side of MYLAR/Plastic sheets? Plus what base could you recommend to help stop the burring would a piece of MDF do the trick? I would be really grateful of any advice. Thanks for sharing the video 👍😷👍

Would this kind of punching tool method work on cotton canvas as well? I'm trying to desperately add my own shape pattern of cutouts into a canvas bag and can't figure out the best way!

Do you have to worry about the bee's wax acting as a resist when attempting to dye or paint the leather??

Great question! Bees wax can act as a resist, so you to wipe off any excess on the outside of the tube.

Could you tell a bit more about piece of cardboard you use to sharpen / polish your punches? Did you say you've rubbed something to it? Thank you for such great video collection, Michael

***** Hello Michael! As far as the cardboard George mentions, the most important thing is that you use a firm, flat surface. Cardboard used in packing boxes would have too much give, however you could use illustrator board, cardboard from a cereal box or even a firm business card. Jewelers Rouge ( www.tandyleatherfactory.com/en-usd/search/searchresults/3323-00.aspx ) is used for sharpening many of your tools. You can also use the Jewelers Rouge on leather to create a strop for your swivel knives!

How do you handle a double leather layer punch without damaging the material by forcing your way through?

Hello +Stuart Loria! Would you mind explaining a little bit more about what you mean? One method people may use is to punch through the first layer, leaving enough of an indention on the second layer to see where the punch is intended to go and punching it separately.

Was just wondering, for the mini punch set, how exactly do you get it to go through? I've tried multiple times with different punch heads and it goes part way through but not all the way and the leather was only 1.5-2mm thick
