Love your videos here... Always well presented , and very well explained. I have a 2003 S60 manual shift (Ireland ) The brake low level indicator is staying on a lot, but when braking goes off from time to time.. A yellow triangle also appears, along with the text warning about the low level...Level is good..in fact I may have over filled it.. Any ideas?

im trying to find a way to get a fuse out of the yellow box under the hood of my s40 Volvo and I haven't seen anything yet on video about how to do that

2001 S70 DOES NOT HAVE THE ON SWITCH ON THE DASH BELOW THE HEADLIGHT SWITCH, AS SEEN ON THE VIDEO. iS THERE ANOTHER LOCATION TO ACTIVATE A DASH BOARD CODE READOUT? i PLUGGED IN MY OBDII READER AND GOT A "FAULT" AND NO CODES

I saw this somewhere that some cars don't have the fog light button to press. My 2001 V70 XC keeps kicking out Catalytic insufficiency bank #1 code I think p0422 or p0244 (sorry I'm dyslexic) with a code scanner I use that doesn't help me much. Other systems this can be the purge valve, but I don't think it is in Volvo's diagnosis playbook. Is this a simple cause to trace and fix or not? Thanks for sharing this tid bit about Volvo though, it should really help many people even now since so many of these vehicles have remained on the road. It seems like they really had some growing pains but anyone that gets one now might get one with the major problems fixed and just little wear and tear buggers to keep chasing. And these should be chased!

So my car has a light on about the passenger air bag being on I boughta Reader it read the car a knew the vn number but then said was no error codes but the lights still on. The Reader also said it doesn't have any stored codes can you help me figure out how to get the light off

Thanks for the videos. Hope you can help. 2001 S80. Engine light stays on, code reader at Valvoline oil change did not show any error codes. Where do I start if I find nothing going through your procedure? Thanks again

Ray Bohn is look if a code comes up for the gauge cluster, like one in the little menus thing of the video and then see again on an obd reader

My awd system doesn't work. This manu says DEM DTC SET. What does that mean?

Too bad you can't hear the initial instructions on how to access the display.

When the display shows checking if you wait will it eventually respond? As I did a test and was waiting a few minutes and it keep displaying checking.

@@mikef6706 Could be wrong, but I think some functions need the engine running to check the module properly.

Drivers door lock pops back up on it own after I lock my car externally (XC90 2003) any ideas please?

My 2006 XC90 did this. The ignition was not all the way to the 0 position (but somehow I was still able to get my key out) so the car thought the key was still in the car. Volvo's feature of helping you not lock your keys in your car kept popping the lock back up.

I am having that problem you mentioned with the window coming immediately back down after using auto up. Any advice on how to fix this issue?

+Kaleb King You may want to remove the door panel and take a look inside of the door to see if the cable has come loose. You may also want to check the window motor to see if it needs to be replaced.

The door module needs to be reprogrammed, pull the fuse of the appropriate door module during a raising the glass operation, turn of ignition, return the fuse to it holder, raise and hold the switch till it is closed, turn off ignition, turn back on, programming complete, done.

Some say checking but nothing changes. What does this mean?

nice..i have that on my youtube channel too..i wish i have volvo diagnostic scan tool so i can reset it. can the dealer reset it ??

good video, but more emphasis should have been on the read button and Holding it in while pressing the other button.

what do each of the messages mean? as in the 3 letter before the "ready" "set" and "checking" bits. thanks:)

You may want to check the vacuum lines in the engine compartment to see if there's a vacuum leak. If there's a cracked or broken line you may want to fix or replace it. Hope this helps you out. 1auto.com 866-403-3393

the main reasons I found are either dirt or sweat on bulb - I was having this problem repeatedly and it has never happened again since i started using gloves to change bulb - never handle the bulb

Sadly this has limited utility. Volvo could have actually displayed the codes in each module. but no... This presentation is odd - why are all these modules having a trouble code set, and I can't see the Check Engine light on.

Is this an asmr? I can't hear the voice over the engine and door chime >:(

Disappointing video. Does not in fact tell you how to pull codes (you still need a scan tool for that) - just tells you that you have fault codes (although it does tell you in what area. The initial instruction are impossible to hear. Thanks to those who explain it below.
