As an economist and wealth planner, I beleive Prophet Yusuf's advise in 12:47-48 is the best inspiration both for designing economic policy as well as guideline for lifecycle investment. For the later, it consists three stage of investment: growth, protection and distribution. I got this inspration 21 years ago so I named my youngest son as Yusuf.

❤❤❤❤❤ Surah yousef taught me that 7 is special number. 7 7 reappear everywhere in islam. 7 times around kaba 7 times safa marawah In surah yousef if you remember the dreams he interpreted had alot of 7s. 7 ajwa hadith about rating 7 ajwa in the morning and it would protect you from magic and poison.

These presentations don’t do any justice to the story of Yusuf AS or any of the prophets Peace Be Upon Them All

I've been telling many people, for many years already that the life of every single Prophet mentioned in the Quran is a unique Hero's Journey. We could easily include the lives of many great women from Qur'an, the great men of the Cave, etc. And of course, the life stories of all the great Sahaba are real life examples of Hero's Journey. Thank you much for shedding light on this aspect of Quran, Brother!

The presentation is amazing. But I have one critique. It looks like that Yusuf (A.S.) is the friend of the narrator! Not even once “alaihis salaam” or “peace be upon him” is said after the name of the prophet Yusuf (A.S) or Yakub (A.S). We should keep in our minds that prophets are the best people and chosen by Allah (swt). Edit: the narrator has said only once at 13:20.

SubhaanAllah! 🥹 I learned this in English IV class this year, and my mind went the SAME direction!- Seeing how this relates to the Prophets and how each and every Muslim can be their own "hero" too!- SUBHAANALLAH! The plot , the events , timings , characters , schemes and roles all put together by none other then the ultimate designer , producer and director - why do we fail to see the wisdom - for it is the hearts that go blind due to our own deed Excellent work done by the team that retold us the story revealed 1400 years ago - May Allah give you more barakah to do good .

I agree surat yusif has the best story, and it was my favourite surah growing up recited by sheikh Ahmed Alajmi, ma shaa allah tabark allah the largest surah i memorised is surat yusif and named my son Yusif. My norwegian friend became a muslim back in 2003, at the age of 14 or 15 and he asked me to give him surah Yusif caset (showing my age here haha).

I read it yesterday night. It's a profound story, and amazes the reader, due to its placement in the Qur'an. My key takeaway was a powerful dua in Ayah: 101 which i have noted down for myself and will use in my duas.

Wallahi I am jealous (for good). I had analyzed the story of Yusuf a.s in the Campbellian thought, but I did that in Albanian in my fb account. Keep up the good work. I also did a workshop analyzing the movie Scarface (1983). We noticed many similarities between Joseph and Tony Montana, althought Joseph is a prophet and Tony is a mafia boss. For example they both have to deal with the temptation from the wife of their boss.
