It's all about the mood of the vo,I went to my first interview 10 days ago watching all your videos and applying every single piece of advice you gave us but still denied within 5 mn. I gave long and concise answers still the vo smiled and said to me" where did you learn your English?" You got a good one ! And said put your 4 fingers here and said your visa is disapproved.

I got the B1/B2 visa, even when i told them my primary aim was to visit my relatives (with name and address) residing in the US. Because the Visa officer was convinced that my profession would bring me back home for sure. My interview hardly lasted a minute. Straight forward questions and answers and i was done. I found the visa officers to be actually nice. If you have the correct intent as per your visa category, have filled the DS 160 truthfully and the visa officer is convinced that you are not lying (this would include you being truthful, confident and ready with any documentary evidence), you shouldn't have a problem! Thanks for the wonderful tips!

@@dilipkulkarni9697 I really can't say. I had mentioned a few things that people think are "Red Flags". Like going to visit relatives in the USA, wife accompanying (already has a visa). Because that was the truth. What I had inferred from all of their videos was that not lying was the best thing to do, if your intentions of visiting the US are clear. I did that and it paid off. Hardly 4 questions asked and Visa granted.

Hey Ben. I'm hoping you can read my comment because this is the video that addresses the worry i jave had. I do have 3 main questions though: 1- If you have a Graduate Assistantship for 4 years of your PhD program, do you still need to provide a personal or sponsor's bank statement to show sufficient funds? 2- If you've made an entry for the US DV Lottery , can the visao officer see this on the system and will this consitute immigrant intent? 3 - If you've been denied a Canadian study permit, is there a way that the US visa officer can see this and will it also affect your F-1 visa application?

In actual fact, what is happening in the US embassy is not understandable. Yesterday I got my b1/b2 visa denied. They gave me their famous 214 article as the reason for the denial, which definitely drove me up to the wall. All day long I was left devastated and disapointed. I have been teaching English in high school for years with a high salary. I love America so much. This love made me study English at college, and ultimately I habe achieved my childhood goal by becoming an English teacher. But to my bewilderment this visa was refused to me while others without clear purpose or home ties are granted the visa. From now on I have decided to shift this love from America to the UK. Even the American variety which I have been speaking for years risks being shifted. What a disappointment!

Hello Officer. I recently got rejected for F1 visa. I applied from villa Maria college. My interview was on 11 December and I updated my DS160 on 4th December but my past DS160 was updated on 13th November. When I went to scan my passport the officer asked me why did I updated my DS160 again though I already updated it on November 13th. I said I needed to include some information about my sponsor. Then I went to another officer who took my interview. She asked me How did I heard about this college, I said I heard it from my friend. My friend recommend me and he's also studying on the college too. Then the officer asked me again what did exactly my friend said about the college. I said he told me that villa Maria offer good deal for transfer students also they provide a lots of opportunities with a higher amount of scholarship. Then the officer asked me about sponsor but before I could finish she stopped me and asked me that if I'm had any travel history. I simply said no I never been to out of my country. Then I got rejected. What could be the reason that I got rejected can you please explain? And what should I change and do to my next interview?

Dear sir, thank you for your valuable information. Could you please make a video about how to navigate the issue of having immediate family members in the US who overstayed their visa? I want to apply for a tourist visa but do I even have a chance or would I be immediately disqualified because of what this family member did? I have no immigration intent whatsoever I just wanna visit my grandma (resident) before it's too late, but I don't know if I should even try because I have an immediate family member living in the US who overstayed their visa and I'm afraid ICE is gonna go look for them if I even mention their name, would I get them in trouble by me applying for a visa? I'm sure there are many in my situation who have no immigration intent but are afraid of disclosing family there because we feel we'll get them in trouble, do consulars denounce them and immediately reject us or do we have a chance?
