I am Christian too, and I find these videos to be universal. Choice of religion does not prevent you from learning good things wherever they may be found, as long as the messager is in line with ones belief.

@@firsttimothychapt4oneto2Bible I have been employed by church for 20+ years, read the bible every day, now 50+ myself. I would say I know the bible well. Actually I am happy to find some similarities in values, morals etc. In my opinion enough people are digging ditches between believers of different faiths, pointing fingers. It makes me sad. If you really want to pick a fight you can always find something. I think, personally, the bigger differences are found between people of faith vs atheists. The world is crazy enough as is at the moment, let's try and find common ground.

I am a Christian but I watch your videos and I love the way you preach and how you explain things. I was introduced to Islam by my Muslim friends. And they teach me the things of Islam. I am forever grateful for them and I will always love them even though we parted our ways. I always had a thing for Mufti Menk's lecture's/preaching. One of his quote's stuck out to me it goes like this "It you’re feeling down and depressed at the moment, you have to believe that you’ll experience the favours of the Almighty in unexpected and unusual ways. For as long as you trust Him, He will turn your troubles, challenges and hardship in your favour. Bear patience!" What this means to me is that as long as you remain faithful to Him (Allah), He will work in your favor despite your problems, difficulties, and suffering. Although I am a christian it's always nice to hear Mufti Menk's preachings. May Allah bless you throughout your days Alhamdulillah. (I also learned some arabic words from those friends)

We call it the '3 Quls', the last 3 surahs of the Quran (Al-Ikhlas, Al-Falaq, An-Nas) because every of those verses starts with Qul. Every night I make a habit before going to sleep I would recite the the 3 Quls + surah Kursi for protection.

I am a new convert from agnosticism and Ifeel so peaceful when I pray. Even if I sleep less than 4 hours I still can feel energetic after Fajr and I am trying to Block the voice of Shaytan always and I am learning prayers and recitations. I feel so happy right now. But my family doesn't know about my conversion and don't want me to convert so fast, that's the only Problem. I am 13 year old from Berlin and may Allah guide us all onto the right path and I thank Mufti Menk for all of his speeches.
