I recently got my ballistic vest. I had some fitting issues at first because of the armored side panels. So, I sent them an email explaining my issue. when i woke up to check my email, i seen that they actually understand my issue (something that most companies fail to do) and they actually provided me with a quick informative video on how to install and wear the armored side panels correctly. Little did i know, there is velcro that runs down the entire back side, to allow adjustments for the side panel. I am hands down very pleased with the product and company. Thank you!

If That Needs Explaining..... The Vest Makers Got Issues Already

I just received my new Hyperline in the concealable vest, and I must say: I love it! It is so comfortable, and it fits me perfectly! It pretty much completely disappears under my uniform! Which is pretty impressive because my uniform is just a white button up shirt (I work for Allied Universal) I got the white carrier to match my white uniform, and unless you know what to look for, you can hardly even tell I’m wearing anything. Hands down one of the best investments one can make!

just got mine yesterday with the tactical bundle just waiting on the outer carrier but in no rush since i cant wear that at work..yet. Armor fits great and I feel a little more secure at work!

Im using the tactical cummerbund with the concealable vest. I like it a lot. gives me the feel of a four piece vest but with extra coverage. its easier to get one cummerbund on in a car as well vs having two straps.

For some reason, Nich Groats positive attitude and personality makes me think of Charlie Day! haha. Plan on purchasing one myself after hearing about the increased shootings in my area for everyday wear. Thanks!

THIS! i ordered the iiiA+ and it doesn't fit well at all. seems to be made for people with enormous beer-guts and not athletic builds... at 6'1" and 208 lbs this thing is SUPER baggy and loose fitting around the abdomen area front and back. Waiting for safe life to call me back... i waited several weeks for something that fits horribly.

@@SIRDIPLOMAT i don't think the Tactical enhanced multi-threat vest is supposed to be concealable. I found out my issue though. perhaps this will help you as well. There is a seemingly hidden compartment under the front of the vest where you can put the velcro inside of the vest to make it fit more snuggly. I wish they had put an insert into the shipping box to convey/inform that little important detail.

Good quality on all their stuff, you can't go wrong. Just make sure that you size correctly according to their chart.

I sized myself off their chart and it wan No where close to correct for me. Im 5'9" and 205lbs. Very athletic biuld. I had to go with an extra small- short vest. The vest is still a bit too wide across my chest forba comfortable2 handed draw and presentation with my handgun. Seems like i need about another 1/2" of material taken away from the width across the chest of my armor panel.. The chart originally called for a medium size- regular length.. It was Huge on me!!!

Will a vest like this work well while carrying a firearm (Glock 19) in the waistband at the 4:00 position? Will it interfere with the side panels and will it affect my draw? I'm 5'-10" and 178 lbs.

Hey Nick.I have done changed my vest three times because I cant get the right fit.I ordered a small bundle and when I sat down,the vest rode up to m y chin.The concealable vest bulges out at the base of my neck and I have done the adjustments,Also on the tactical vest,it curves out at the bottom of my back.I just got my small short today but it has the same issues as the small.Should I go to a medium?And I do have the side panels also.

I typically have a bulge on the sides and the bottom of the vest on the rear and can't figure out how to adjust it right for the best fit and to keep it a concealsble as possible under my uniform shirt I was recommended a xs-s IIIA+ when I exchanged from my other size since I ordered to big. Any recommendations on a fix for my issue?

Are the gapping and overlap rules the same for the uniform styled carriers ?

What method do you recommend for storing your products?

I would buy, just worried about sizing. The chart doesn't match up to the custom input when I put my height and weight in.

Can you test a vest against .22tcm9r in 2011 5 inch 40 and 39 grain as well as in the tactical rifle 51110 rifle from rock island I have shot is against an out of date iiia+ expired vest with a single trauma plate the first rocket shatter the plate and went though the front plate the second went throught the soft armor and a 5 gallon bucket of water and stopped in the back plate . Also I tested the same vest against a .17hmr Amd .17wsm 20 grain fmj in all cases it went through front and back plates I think you IV will stop it but I’m not sure your iiia+ will.

I got mine fitted at my local gun shop. They had multiple sizes and types. I got the concealed. I love mine.

That’s not the most coverage. The overlap is the most coverage because there’s no gaps. Back to back like this leaves you open for a round to get through and I take safety over comfortability all day.

So are the armor panels for the tactical vest and concealed vest not interchangeable? And why do you not put your plate sizes on the armor? I have both 3XL-S concealed and tactical vests... these armor panels aren't fitting in the concealed vest properly... and why is your website so slow? >:( Might have to send this concealed vest back since the armor isn't interchangeable. The plates being from SLD are the only reason I didn't buy a concealed vest from a different business. But these aren't even interchangeable.

I weigh 270 and ordered the 6xls and it feels like it’s small. For example i have the v of the vest at my collarbone space and the bottom comes to about 2-3 inches from the top of my navel.

Please explain how to put em on with no help

That and shirt size vs vest size. I heard they're different. These are details that really matter to the buyer, but are never explained.

I wish there were store locations…. My armor is comfortable on my chest; but, there’s WAY too much space on my abs and my lower back section, I’m a V-shape body type…. I’m not happy with my fit. I’ve already exchanged it once…. Still not a good fit. Too wide on the bottom.

Just got the vests and they are great. I am 5 10 and 230 and XL does fit on the sides closely so I am sending it back for an XXL. I just have some belly bloat and am not really fat.... Dont drink except milk.. Most likely my problem jajaja

The carrier wears out very quickly and the right chest pocket Velcro wore out in about 1 week. Not the pocket stays open. The short pockets are extremely small. They won't even fit a 3x5" notepad.

My safelifedefense vest is perfect

I called them today to inquire about fitting. Short vests are about an inch and a half shorter. It’s so the vest doesn’t try to lift off your shoulders when you sit down.

Im waiting for your uniform shirt outer vest carrier, please hurry.

Yes, indeed. In most US states, body armor is completely legal to own, wear, transport, sell/trade--including hard (rifle threat) armor. Hell, I've got 5 full vests just laying around and over a dozen rifle plates (mostly level III, but I do have a brand-new set of level IV ceramic plates that are now in my full battle rattle).

I am about the same but I have a little belly bloat so I am sending it back for a 2XL. Need sides to come together and it doesnt. I may be 233 and 5 10 with belly bloat. Not beer but milk. jajaja
