    Thanks for this, only I got a Firebird. Firebird, Camaro, same thing. Upgraded from 4th gen to 3rd gen and wanted to make sure I was putting it in the right spot.

    Good video. I always back the jack stands up by also using 8x8 blocks of wood. Have seen 3 guys crushed after the jack stands shifted or the jack stand weld failed. Saw another guy crushed when his factory made ramps failed. I'm always amazed that some people buy the top name tool but the economy brand jack and jack stands. Yes, I know they usually work. But I always ask them how much their life is worth. Too late to change an accident after it happens. I've seen life ended or severe lifetime injuries because of economy equipment. Thanks for the video and always remember safety.

    Snap Mac i completely agree with you. it's always best to be as safe as possible. especially when it comes to something like this. why not go the extra step to protect yourself. I think any extra steps in protecting yourself is worth the time. thanks for the tip as well. Oh and thanks for watching!

    It's actually really convenient you using yoyr 3rd gen, I'm trying to put my 3rd gen on jackstands, I almost was going to put them on the pinch welds since there are dents where they'd go

  • @TonyTheTechnician

    @TonyTheTechnician

    Ya you can but I suggest using a pinch weld adapter on the jack or jack stands

    @TonyTheTechnician yeah, I was going to find a spot on the frame that would keep the jacks as wide as possible since it'll be on em for a bit

    Hey man I have a 92 camaro I wrecked the front how do I get the front radiator core support off and put a new one?

  • @TonyTheTechnician

    @TonyTheTechnician

    3 жыл бұрын

    Once you unfortunately the raditiator support up top pull the radiator and you can see the bracing mount points you can unbolt the x brace but then the bottom support might be solid and need cut out

    I saw this video and I was like I dont need to watch that I know what to do but even knowing what to do doesnt mean your gonna do it, ive dropped my truck a couple times due to loose wheel spacer lugs and the jack shifting positions.. You can never be too safe when lifting a vehicle.

    I have done some reading and not many mention the filter but some say they upgrade to the one on hawks Motorsports and then some bought the wix filter for a 99 vette part number 33737 but I'm an not 100% sure.

    @@1983z28camaro the engine oil pan close to the k member or the transmission pan close to the tans cross member? I'm guessing your talking about the engine oil pan and in that case they are usually pretty close I think I can roughly fit a finger in between them
