Hey hey hey! One thing I intentionally left out of the video was drift landings, (basically slipdrifting). Originally I thought that drifting made sticking to the ground easier, but after I spent some time labbing I got inconsistent evidence for if it helps or not. I personally believe it helps to drift upon landing all in all tho.

Same as what I said with the drift, I believe it helps but I didn't have enough time to properly lab them out. I'll get back to you guys later once I do a proper investigation :salute:

please make a video of the mini shortcuts like the ddr sand hop , rr S turn skip, koopa cape waterfall cut (at the end) etc

I think I found a better way to land using a trick method. As soon as you hear the trick sound effect, hold down, and when your character sits back down after the trick, tail dive, then about a couple seconds before you hit the ground, return back to a normal position. Tracks like DK Summit, Coconut Mall, GCN Waluigi’s Stadium and Rainbow Road can help use this landing method effectively.

I love that people still play this game I do too

Yo Ark, you can do the figure 8 on rainbow road shroomless if you trick off the boost ramp, wheelie quickly when you land and trick off of both of the figure 8 ramps. It isn't that difficult, I use it in my time trials

I think one of my biggest problems driving wise is, getting bounces after my wheelie. This happens on "non-flat tracks" like DKM. As you are riding down the moutain, I tend to get these bounces and its where I can't get my wheelie to come out. Sometimes it happens at the cannon exit turn. I am not sure why this happens or how to fix it.

I do it like this for the landing: If the road is sloping downwards - nosedive 100% If the road is flat - nosedive then taildive If the road is sloping upwards - nosedive 100%

Okay like I don't play this game competitively at all but if you hold the drift button when you land after a complete nosedive sometimes you like, stick to the ground and don't get the bounce. This is probably already well known or something but I dunno.

Drifting and wheeling when landing is something I'm not too sure about bc I didn't have time to lab it properly. HOWEVER I do believe that yeah it helps stick to the ground.

The basic nose and tail diving concepts, yes. But getting soft landings and pivots is much harder using the wii wheel than any other controller

You really should've mentioned that successful landings revolve around landing on your back tire first.
