    what do we do for the monthly cleaning? You talked about rinsing and drying the safety razor after every use and using dish soap and a toothbrush to clean the bits every 3-4 months, but you mentioned a monthly cleaning as well.

    Yes sorry I had misspoke and didn't catch it in post. I meant to say weekly cleaning. not monthly. sorry about that good catch though.

    After shaking the water off, I add a couple of drops of pre shaving oil to the blade to displace the remaining water. It seems to keep the blade sharper for longer.

    Pipe cleaning brushes can work well in small orifices of the safety razor.

    I have to disagree with the disposal of the blades. I completely understand that their cheap blades but if they cut comfortably, use em for as long as u can. I must say. After my investment with my very first Muhle safety razor and the amount of blades i bought, I found myself saving so much. I doubt I'll return to cartridge razors again.

    I typically use my blades longer as well. I mention time frames in videos so that new people to DE know what they can expect from a blade as a minimum. what Muhle did you get? they do have some good looking razors a few are on my list currently

    can I ask why you want to use a de for the head? id suggest that if its for the price or refils and save the earth reasons then check out my reviews of the leaf razor many seam to really like that for head shaving. if you just want a good head shaver then check out my reviews of the head shave club! super easy and specifically made for head shaving.

    I never do and have not ever thought it was needed as they work great without it. As long as you keep them clean and dry they shouldn't need any oil.

    do you think cleaning soap will take the finish off a Rockwell gunmetal razor?

  • @30DayReviews

    @30DayReviews

    2 жыл бұрын

    Guess it depends what kind of soap you use. Over all id say probably not. Just dont use anything acidic or that has any grit to it and you should be fine. Test it on a small bit first if you are woried about it.

    Hi. You waste a lot of water in your video by letting the tap run. The cost of the water will soon be worth the cost of the razor. Cheers.
