How to Pronounce "th" (Voiced TH /ð/) in English (this, that, these, those)
Learn how to pronounce /ð/ vs /d/. The voiced TH sound can be difficult for English learners, so this video teaches you how to pronounce it and compared it to /d/.
My page focuses on teaching RP and Modern RP (British English), but as I'm from the north of England I also teach some aspects of Northern English (Yorkshire) too! 😁

After this comment i am thinking about that learn pronounce like this is a waist of time, I mean if everyone are goin to understand me. I can't hear the difference betwen the sounds when natives are talking in natural speed and in addition i felt throat ache after some time practcing the correct pronounce.
I taught my students the unvoiced th sound last week. I told them to practise the word 'think' at home, so the words with this sound in the middle or end can get easier. I was glad to see them being able to pronounce it, and telling their parents and everyone in school about it.

I can relate! I recently taught my student the voiceless 'th' too, and I am happy to see him nail the sound! I am teaching him the British RP accent.

in that classic scene where walter white says "i am the danger", he kind of says like "i am *vthe* danger"
This girl is amazing! I was looking for someone with a nice tone of voice, who articulated the words and was clear, her accent and her pronunciation are really understandable, she also has the right speed........ and she's beautiful too!

My favorit teacher, thank you Emma
"I'm learning English and I'm facing such issues. In Persian language, we don't have the 'th' sound basically, and the 'r' sound we pronounce is much different than English speakers. Furthermore, the sound of speech is another difference. In English, the tone has highs and lows, but in Persian, it's mostly flat."
Thank you. I'm from Uzbek🎉🎉
Love you teacher 😘
Emma iam great fan of your subject
Aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh reproduzir o som do "th" é quase uma batalha. Eu vou persistir e triunfarei sobre o "th"!

Nice, looks great,,
❤We can compare some sounds and words to the corners of a road. That's why drivers can't make sudden turns and that's why we have to replace these letters and sounds with other letters and sounds this way they lose their original pronunciation So actually these pronunciations are not always valid❤
❤👌
Thanks good system😊
Du bist sehr wunderschon frau 😊
Hello Mam, I'm from Bangladesh.

Well done ❤❤❤
Emma, you learned ALL these pieces of clue at School or in the University. Which course do we learn English grammar to teach English, in England? At a Language course, for those who ARE going to learn English as a Second language or when a foreigner Goes to the University (some1 who Goes to Cambridge, for example, to studying English [and Literature]) or you Native ones must take Cambridge TKT/ CELTA/DELTA? I don't know whether my questions ARE confused, but That's my doubt. Thnx. Ricardo.
Un abrazo.
well done
Teacher I lived in Jamaica and they pronounce the normal t without these symbols that you mentioned and that's why I had a hard time understanding them when they spoke
