I’m taking this thermostat out and installing a brand new easy thermostat with an on and auto set switch . I’ve never seen such a complex one as this …

1:56 for Multiple Same Day Schedule. If anyone's wondering. This is the most complicated thermostat ever! Switching to Nest.

Does anyone know how to clear the schedule??? I just want to turn it off and on.

No easy way to simply change the temperature of the building NOW. Just the damn schedule.

Yeah seems like lots of problems with the Lux thermostats. My electrician said get rid of it. I told him how the Lux techs told me to install this type of unit and my electrician said do NOT do that (this is a 30 year hvac master electrician). I installed it (a WiFi model) and it does run... but it takes almost an hour to do what you ask it to. You’ll use the phone app and turn it to 72 degrees. 45 minutes later it says “last contact with server was an hour ago.” An hour later the air finally turns on. No idea. This is my second Lux and it’s prob gonna be returned too. As we speak, my thermostat is set to 67, and it’s still 69 in my house. It said last contact was 12:19, and it’s now 1:14. So how many hours does it actually take to respond to commands?

I’ve had this model since 2016. No issues other than it is a bit complicated to program. Once that’s done, you can easily override the settings to adjust as needed. I did notice its been going through batteries a lot quicker. In 8 years, just now seeing the Warning to use only Duracell or Energizer. My bad, but now display won’t stay on even with fresh batteries. Should I replace with good batteries or is it toast and I need a new one?

Are auto and on the same switch position?

I don’t have this Lux model but it is programmable however nothing let’s me set my humidity levels on it. It’s too dry in my house in the winter and nobody likes a crusty nostril!

How to I change the temperature hight than 67 degrees?

My Lux9600ts thermostat comes on for 15 min then it turns off. The temperature reads 85 degrees in the house on the thermostat, I have it set for 78 degrees but it won't stay on long enough to COOL the house. How to make it stay on continuously for a least an hour...

This part is self explanatory... it’s the other settings that I have no idea what they mean or what the setting should be. Why not go through the whole settings?

Ever since installing the Lux 9600 my heat pump has been working on stage 2. Is it something with the wiring I have wrong?

Exactly the same experience. Rented a house in Florida, thought I had set it to 72 for the night. Woke up at 6 am in sweat because the AC had set itself to 78 degrees at 5 am.

I hate this thermostat, I’ve had it for 7 years, and it’s still difficult to program, I’m just gonna go to Lowe’s and buy another one

I'd like to set it and forget it. How do I erase all programing?

Okay so I will own it that I did the copy wrong but the instructions did not explain how to do it either so I guessed. I just bought this thermostat tonight from Lowes since my 11 year old Hunter thermostat stopped working appropriately. I like it so far but I wish there was a back button in case you pressed next then realized something needed to be changed. I had to go through everything again from beginning to fix my mistake. How do I reset it?I changed the filter and replaced the batteries.It makes a noise when I put it on heat but only air is coming out.

This thermostat is annoying and complex. My tenant calls me always as the ac changes temps on its own, causing him to be sweating while hes asleep. Who needs 4 schedules? Its bull. Lux you need to fix this and make a simple normal thermostat not this diparate!

Can’t wait to get rid of this thermostat. This video barely helped.
