It samples a japanese city pop song. The instrumental is pretty much the same.

Everything is perfect, im amaze by the attention on the details, I really enjoy watching this remake, would you cover vocals and vocal harmonies in one tutorial? that will be the cherry on the cake for this channel. I have my vocal chain but I am very sure that you will come up with a monster set up. Thank you!

21:37 Could never understand how even a bas sawtooth makes my ears bleed with those extra transients stabbing above a cut-off. I guess its job security for the saw tooth that it will always be able to cut through a replete mix. This video is an opus by illFactor though. Well done.
