    This is incredible! Invaluable. Just goes to show, how the producers of today, take just a barebone tune, and add the juice, that really makes it a hit. I am miffed at the fact that noone talks about the proucers, the buck stops at music directors. People need to see this to understand where the music director stopped, and where the producer took over and made it a real listening experience! Also, like the fact that he is using mostly analog sound. Any song comes to life by using 'real' instruments, and not samples.

    @Sudeep Audio, I am a BIG fan of your videos. Next time whenever you interview any music producer, kindly also ask them about the iMac/PC/hardware configuration they use, the audio interface (sound card) they use, the DAW they use (Logic / ProTools/others) the MIDI keyboard, and the Monitors they use. This will be of a great help for someone like me who wants to setup a home studio. Thanks

    vivek tyagi Usually its the rhythmic structure of the lyrics that leads a composer into a particular time signature. Read a lyrical draft aloud and you can feel a rhythmic pattern while you do so. That’s a basic way of identifying a signature for the song.

    Sir. Please tell me how do you make beats of the songs. My major question is that do you record percussion i.e. Drums and tablas on metronome only? And if you record these percussion then how this much perfection is brought so that every beat hits the tap of metronome? For getting this much perfection do we particularly need an expert percussion player or can we also do it by time stretching or something similar to it?

  • @winstondsouza42

    @winstondsouza42

    Though there are samples but live stuff ads more soul to the song.. So first things first you do need musicians who have a good deal of knowledge about their instrument & studio recording in genral... For the imperfections you can quantize the beats in logic if its a audio file.
