Love the rainbow and offset ideas. You say wipe off the ink with a damp cloth. Is it special ink? I have to use petrol to clean up my plates and roller etc.

I've just attempted my first linocutting and enjoyed the actual cutting but the printing.........!!! I bought the oil-based ink as it seems to be recommended but I couldn't get the consistency right and it just got everywhere! Cleaning the roller and everything else was just so messy - I'm definitely going to use water-based inks next - does anyone recommend them?

Hello ! Great video ! I have just somes questions beacause I am a novice in this method ;) How type of paper and ink did you use ?

I used Speedball water-soluble ink. It cleans up much more easily than oil-based ink, but it does dry very quickly. I used a basic printmaking paper for this: magnani pescia, I believe. It's soft, smooth and absorbs ink well.

Why offset it a bit? Why no audio or other explanation? This is why you get so few likes, even though your work is beautiful.

That paper is too think to get result like that. You can't get that with a wooden spoon. I think you used a press.
