How to Print a glass, bottle, cylinder, DIY BEST way!! My $15 DIY printing machine
PLEASE SUBSCRIBE!! I'm De-Monetized until I have 1000 subscribers. Thanks guys!!
I demonstrate my cheap DIY screen printing setup. I made it for less than $100 (with my power washer included). I can also print bottles, glasses or any cylindrical unit with my DIY cylinder screen printing arm. It's called "Da Arm". You can't get a better, cheaper system than this.. Da Arm will never be defeated (lol) as it only cost $15 and does just as good a job as a $10,000 bottle printing machine.

I love this kind of vide because your rig is pure function - definitely took notes, thank you!
All eyes on me at the back man you are dop creative from exposure unit and the cylinder press with drawer rails.... love that
My kinda guy...make your own rig, this was a super creative rig man. I'm definitely taking notes. Awesome vid.
Look at this guy's organization, man -- and yet he came up with this machine. This is unbelievable! (Very impressed - you seem to have the inverse of my abilities!)
Fabulous MacGyver ingenuity !
That's incredible!
awesome video. do you have a video with the schematic of that glass press you build? or a tutorial video showing the building process?
Pure genius!
Caught that view out that window....... nice 👍
Nice setup
Hi, great video, you think out of the box, i like that. i have 2 question, how much time you expousure the frame and the lamps you use for it, how many watts are each lamp. thank you
Good video.
what about a 2 or more color bottle? how the registration can be made so it matches the same position? thanks for sharing, great video!
Will you ever get round to doing that build video please?
Where did buy the uv lamps?
Incredible
Amazing 🧡
your foam needs to be more like a cushion foam then that pushes film screen and glass closer preventing light from bending around the film and losing definition tiny detail gets lost then that way and through under exposure. I love your basic exposure unit and your printer, that you design?
good video. i just wonder only can print white ink? if many colors? and how long will the art stay on the bottle, pls?
Does the glass below also rotate when you put the paint? Or it just stay steady?
I hope you would responde to my inquiry, how does the glass roll together with the screen?
You need eye protection when working around those UV lamps. Properly rated sunglasses can even do. Didn't see if you were wearing anything or not but the retina damage is no joke.
What catalyst did you use for the ink to cure property? I know that the glass must be cured for more durability!
GREAT VIDEO, CAN YOU TELL ME WHAT MESH YOU USE FOR THE SCREEN AND WHAT KIND OF INK, I SEE YOU DID NOT BAKE THE GLASS AFTER PRINTING, THE INK YOU USED IS DISHWASHER SAFE?
Good am sir what type of paper do you use for printing
Hi! i just want to know what kind of ink did you use?
Where you at? I needed this right now.
May I know which mesh thickness do u use?
Andrew, How did you clean your screen after using this ink?
Wow looks hard..but really decent tho..gr8 job
I'm a glass decorator in Toledo Ohio I've worked with got melt gold NLV paint and apoxy and uv paint also with different paints u can get away with a different screen height also we do a lot of curved items look up custom deco LLC
I want to Print on Glass without the print scratching off? What can I do?
Where can you get those glasses for only 30cents? Link please
Sir gooday What paint did u use wer to buy that kind of ink
Which Ink you have used plz
how do you made that printer?
So for glass, you want the blade resting flat?
where can I buy the ink?
Can I just use a stencil ?
If your making smaller silk screens can I use UV Light Machine like for nails?

I've wanted to try UV ink, but I've never experimented with it. I'm sure it would work. You'd just have to do some material tests on nails.

It's not for nails it's what they use to dry nails I use it for making image transfers on reverse film I was wondering if I could use the uv machine for your concept....
Dear Brother which color you used for glass screen print
Thank you for this content. Just curious does any emulsion would work with that ink. Also do you suggest working with a specific mesh or does any mesh count work.

hello, where can get the bearings? did you need to oven dry it?

I just used my old skateboard bearings, since I skateboard. You can get them at skate shops. Or rollerblade bearings, machine bearings, any that roll well would work. I didn't need to dry this ink in an oven. It's an epoxy with hardener. Sets in 24 hrs. UV ink also works on glass.

Thanks! Yeah, thought about it, but after I "designed" it from scratch and worked through the testing and initial prototype, I finally realized that a product already existed in China, but the only problem (Because it solved many of the problems that I encountered with printing) was that it was expensive. Not terrible, but definitely not as cheap as my machine. You really can't be doing it yourself for less than $20. And the inconsistency is actually the appeal, in a way. Each bottle/glass is a work of art and original.

Hi! Yeah, I'm planning on doing at least one more printing project first, then do the making-of video. It's really not the making of the machine that's difficult, rather the testing and fine adjustments that are hard to dial in. I shot video of the build, so definitely planning on making it soon. Stay tuned!

Yeah, pretty simple. Just need a squeegee set in place and your screen to move over a bottle that's on a set of rollers. When you push the screen forward the squeegee shouldn't move and the bottle will roll on the rollers. Just hard to get the whole thing calibrated. That's why I made mine super adjustable. Will explain in a video later.

that was not 15% if you added 15g to 85g you would have a 15 % mixture 15 /115 is just over 13%
hi do you have an email.. i have a question
will it cost printing machine
@andrewcrooksartstudio967

I made my machine for $15. The biggest investment was wood and dresser drawer rails plus some hardware. I used old skateboard ball bearings for the rollers and it all works excellent. If you know how to screen print it should be pretty easy. I'll be adding a building of video soon.

Yeah, actually, I should clarify. I live in China, so the hardware and wood was only about $15US, less than 100RMB. I'm not sure the prices for hinges, springs, cabinet tracks and wood in the US lately, but it's probably double the price of here. Sorry for any confusion
