How to prime out 275' of system with a concrete trailer pump. Pumping concrete with Muddyfeet
Using the concrete line pump to place concrete for a metal building shop. Here we show how to prime out without getting plugged. We are using 3” hose and 1” aggregate in the mix.

Im on a 325 foot (37 yard) line pump job today (lakefront) then on to a foundation wall for another 58 yards. Busy day...keep the mud flowing and may you stay plug free :)

Jeff awesome awesome job u and Foster did on the trailer pumping and it went smooth for u
You inspire me so much to keep going with my own concrete KZread videos champ ! 🙌🏼🥶
Very nicely done. I'm shocked at how buttery that primed through considering what the first bit of material looked like coming out the end of that hose. Love the videos brother. Your channel has become a staple of my Sunday morning routine. 👍👍👍

Nothing against day laborers but it'll be pretty expensive for you to miss a couple of days of work to travel, pay for hotels etc. to make a video.
You guys should use a drill with a mixer attachment when mixing the mortar. Soooo much faster! Keep up the awesome content!

Hey do you guys 4inch line over there? I remember doing a 300 foot job, one helper and 4inch line 😅
What’s that you put in at the very beginning?
Like the way the Guy's just stand there looking at you emptying the hose I'm glad we use 10 Foot hose here in Ireland because them 25 Foot hose are to hard to empty when mud is stiff

Those 4” hoses are heavy
My 2nd job on Monday was that long but we use 4 inch line and only put on the 3 inch line where we are pouring because concrete can be hit and miss for pumping that's why we use 4 inch line and it started raining while setting up and stopped when we where blowing out.

@@MuddyfeetConcretePumping LOL this is a West Coast Custom Concrete supporter so you can pretty much figure it out from there...
Two questions, when youre priming out, do you send a couple strokes of slurry through the lines before the mud hits the hopper. or do you send eberything through at once? Also, whats a good PSI for blowing lines?
@MuddyfeetConcretePumping
Жыл бұрын
I send it all at once. I’m not sure the psi I don’t use a gauge.
Is there a benefit to priming with mortar mix versus mixing fritz pak in the hopper? Won't be long till we will be at the controls of a trailer pump.

@MuddyfeetConcretePumping if your serious, give me a shout. The owner is coming down on Monday with it for a deck pour we have, after that he's going to park it at our shop. I guess we're on our own after that. I'm excited but nervous at the same time. We have the 2.5" line ordered up and we'll see how things go from there. If we don't like it over the next 6 months or year, it may be on the market. Time will tell.
Great videos hahah "I've been dragging hose all my life" lol How do you clean your pump after air blowing your hoses?

We need to find a better way to handle those hoses. Maybe we get the drones to latch onto them and take them back to the truck for you💪 Happy Easter to you, your family and crew!!👍🇺🇸

I learned to pump on one of these bad boys 🫡
my dad and bought a mayco-c30hdg line pump. we keep having trouble with our pump plugging up. we use a slick pack to prime and still plugs before 75ft sometimes. any tips that you can give to help us out . we run a 2 1/2inch line

First try to use cement as your primer (full bag for 3 gallons of water) second try to run no drier than a 5 slump 5.5sk and nothing bigger than 3/8" rock for a 2.5" hose
Do u use 4 inch hose for that type of job

I recently bought a similar line pump……my question is, when you prime out with Portland mix, do you put a sponge in the line as well? Also, same question when you clean out with air. Sponge ball in the line? Or no?
@MuddyfeetConcretePumping

I don’t use a sponge to prime out with. I do use a wet paper bag or sponge to blow the hoses out with.

Are you having any problems with getting concrete. In the Phoenix area, concrete is at a premium. About a two week wait for concrete. We have a shortage of powder. About $ 140 a yd. with surcharges for fuel, EPA regs, under 8 yds, returned concrete, and wash out fee. Hope this companies have to beg to sell concrete in the future!!!!!!
