Increase water intake is feeding natural wet food end of story. NOT the overprice greed driven vet stuff.

What do you recommend? My vets just put kids kitty on $200 a bag dry food and $3 per 80gm tin wet food.. I’m a single mum, and still paying off his emergency vet visit and weeks stay!! :-( .. This is going to wreck me!

@@thebranchorganics3721 I feel for you we forked out $2k over a year ago for our cat in incompetent vet bills I just put him on wet tinned food and he loved it. He passed away from something else not the kidney problem the vet treated him for. I wouldn't even bother with the dry stuff anymore. Just my opinion don't take me seriously if you know different.

@@thebranchorganics3721 Please....NO DRY FOOD. It contributes to the problem. Simply add a small amount of fresh water to canned wet cat food.

@@thebranchorganics3721 Check out the channel All About Cats, she really does good research and knows her stuff and breaks it down fast and easy. There’s even one on the best cheap cat food which is basically wet fancy feast fish and shrimp. I was already feeding that to my indoor cats and outdoor feral ones and it’s not crazy expensive at all. Some batches are better than others so if you buy it once and aren’t impressed try again in a week and it’ll be different probably. Sometimes it’s all pink and smells wonderful and there’s always an actual little shrimp or two on top!

DO NOT FEED DRY FOOD!!!!

Yes exactly! I changed mine to wet food only and got him a really cool water fountain from amazon and no issues been over 5 years now

@@jennajade4388 So good to hear!!! It's a nightmare going through that. My male cat (after getting blocked twice) eventually had to have his pen¡s removed! Happy your baby is doing well 😊

Hi, dont feed your kitty any dry kibble. The studies show that they contribute to UTI's and diabetes (check this out for yourself, it is worth the deep dive. There are a few vets speaking out about it, for example Dr Elizabeth Hodgkins DVM). I found this out the hard way sadly. My cat loved kibble, but ended up sick with UTI and diabetes. Even the dry kibble the vets sell is bad for them. Its too high in carbohydrate. Just read the first five ingredients on the packet. Feed your cat wet food, either raw or canned (not the soft pouches, they have a form of glycol in them to make the gravy that is toxic). I made the switch gradually off kibble to wet food, and I hope to get my kitty in remission from diabetes. Goodluck.

Yes, what the others have commented and also stay away from the fish....Feed more chicken....Bottled spring water will help too!

@Ron Krikorian, I have 1 right now....But, 2 more in the past....He’s been at the vets for almost 3 weeks with a blockage....He almost went into surgery but he finally unblocked this last Saturday....👏 $1,400 total bill....

@Ron Krikorian, can you tell me about Uromaxx? I asked the vet and she said it’s what’s in his urinary health wet/ dry food? Or are they telling me wrong and I should still give it to him once daily? Thank you....
