I have tested what this gentle man has suggested for the Frontech UPS with iBall UPS. I want to give the good news that it works ! Very good ! Thank you for the tip and help. However, the iBall UPS board and Frontech are not exactly same but similar. I was able to locate the said SMD 620 Ohm resistor. I connected two wires as suggested and connected a 1.2 K resistor. I suppose the calculations for the iBall UPS are a bit different. So I didn't use the suggested 56 K resistor but used 1.2 K. So Here is what I think works for iBall : 1. With 620 Ohm min load required is about 120 Watt 2. With 1.2 K minimum load required is abut 60 Watt 3. With 2.2 K minimum load required is about 30 watt Earlier connecting only a laptop to the UPS would cause it shut down after 30 secs. Now with the change of resistor to 1.2 K I can run a laptop and it works fine. Again thank you so much !

Ik this is 5 months old but can you remember why resistor did you change on the iball ups like no (R14)?

I actually removed one through hole resistor (1.3k ohm) and the ups works fine now but after watching this video i found the 620ohm resistor what should i do? Because after removing that resistor (not the smd 620ohm) now my ups outputs only 160V AC?

Can we connect a variable resistance I.e. preset of appropriate value to change the minimum/maximum load requirement? If it's possible , then It will be more useful in situations , we'll not have to use multiple ups units as per their different minimum load requirement.

Yes you can. But also think of this : 1. You have to use a pot meter or variable resister. Where will you mount them ? They will easily catch dust if kept outside. 2. For different loads you have to keep adjusting it. This is tedious to do. So if you want to use it for variable loads use a multi-position switch, with preset resistors connected.

I have a ups that i replaced the four transistors & replaced busted plate fuse. Now, when i plug the battery, the spark is not normal and when i plug the power cord with the battery connected, the transistor in one of the heat sinks is blown again. What could be the cause? Can you help me?

@@ItsAboutEverything01 The thing is that i´ve switched to a LI-ON battery that stays well above 12V so thats not the issue. It has the power of the battery it will just shutdown

@@ItsAboutEverything01 every 10 sec while restarting. And sometimes it beeps every second while running the pc also. It just doesnt act in case of a power cut.. the whole pc shuts down immediately when power cut, its like i have no ups

Yes it worked for me I put 330kohm register it work , I put a two way switch , so that I can run heavy load and no load, 150,180 kohm not working ,put 300 or more than 300kohm it will work

Matlab 150k ka volume control 620 ohm ke registance ke sath chalega...plz guide me... Registance isliye kyunki zero registance nhi kar sakta
