Me, too. I live in Houston. The humidity is horrible down here. I hate it! Lol. I have used so many products in my hair to combat the humidity, since we moved to Houston from New York. The summers are very long and very hot down here, which makes the frizz worse. 😥

I have naturally wavy hair. I’ve been exploring the curly girl method for the past year and I’ve really been loving it. It’s wonderful in the summer when I have to walk to school and my hair no longer looks frizzy. The humidity just boosts my curls! BUT I’ve been wanting to switch it up in the winter and such, so I’ve been looking into air drying techniques and how to prevent frizz when my hair is straighter. So thank you for this video !!!

I tried the curling one and wrapping in a silk scarf and honestly it works so well. Highly reccomend silk for hair .. esp frizziness. My hair is longer than hers and ALWAYS frizzy when i go on vacation in hot countries but it still worked for me! The no sulfates thing is also a majorrrrr life safer for hair health as well and always rinse your hair with cold water before u get out of the shower. These cause visible differences in your hair. Or they did for me at least. I genuinely still use these hacks 😅

I'd wish it would be that easy, but in reality it's a matter of hair type and porosity and finding the right balance between hydration and protein. I have wavy hair, super frizzy and coarse (with 15% white hair) and tried the curly girl method. I hated it. It's such a struggle to always find that balance and the right products. It came to the point that it was over-hydrated and it looked super frizzy and also dead and very fragile. So then I alternated protein with hydrating masks. Worked for a while, then nothing. I guess I couldn't figure the right balance or maybe it's a medical or age related issue. It's like nothing works anymore! I look like I wake up in the jungle every morning :(( And all this struggle started after cutting my hair short. I believe it's much easier to handle wavy frizzy hair when long. So now the struggle is double to make it look nice while also trying to grow it. Why does it have to be this hard?!?

Wow, that's hot! We'd recommend washing your hair with luke warm water and rinsing your hair with cold water. Also try applying a bit of hair oil like coconut oil or argon oil when your hair is damp and air drying. We love the Love Hair Hair Mask also 1-2 times per week. Hope this helps!

I have extremely healthy pin-straight hair, at least until I moved house. I guess the new place is more humid. I have been battling frizzy hair ever since. It's been consistent for a year so I don't think its the season. I am so frustrated. I have never had this problem ever, even in the dog days of summer. And yes, I am in the same city, so the water is the same. I have changed my hair products a few times to try to compensate, but I haven't had any luck. I have also added hair oils (which I have never used previously), but it doesn't seem to do much. I already do all the things in this video minus hair dryers (mine is collecting dust) and styling products (I just wear it straight). I'm really not sure what else to do. Sorry to go on a tirade, but does anyone have any ideas of other things to try?

as a guy my enemy truly is humidity and sweat. your hair gets both frizzy, greasy looking, and knots. it's the worst. also to me it depends. my hair is wavy, but mostly because the weight of the hair drags the curls down haha (ok yeah wow I really need more products. kinda sad that hair and body care is such a stigma for us)

I have really random hair, it’s really frizzy at the back and normally I have two ringlets at the front with waves in between. I always straighten my hair for school because the school buildings constantly frizz my hair up so much, it all gets into my face and stuff and just makes me feel really self conscious so if I ever go to school with my natural hair I always put it up in braids. I wish my hair would stop frizzing up so much and I didn’t have to straighten it all the time, but even when I’m not in school, I work with animals and I can’t be bothered with a big mess in my face. Anyone have a similar situation?
