Hey Colin! Thank you for this video! I’ve been in the construction industry for many years and I’m transferring into sales. This was very helpful! Also, fist bump to a fellow Michigander!

Glad it helped! Sales is great because there is no roof on your income limit. How is it going for you so far?

Dang man. This was a perfect way of doing it. I commented a few times before so im that Gutter guy who hasnt called yet. Just scared youll pitch me too well and ill cave in. Im in the process of transition and an issue im constantly having with builders is that they keep getting other quotes and they always go with the lower price regardless of what I do. Ill give them my quote and anytime anyone gives them one after they always go with them. Any suggestions?

Great question. That is difficult to work around as is so sometimes you have to change your target audience to those who are willing too pay top dollar for premium product and service. To back that up though you have to have Premium customer care, service and product. You have to have a great customer experience from initial contact to when they leave a review for the work you did. In your quote, talk yourself up and add in why you're better than the other guys.

Does LeafBlaster Pro going under the shingles void the warranty of the roof?

Excellent question. While that's the great debate, our GAF rep has given me a letter stating no it does not. I once had one from OC when I was looking at partnering with a clevelend business too.

It takes time and good vetting to get good sales people. Our best sales people have been with us a number of years, new guys tend to come and go. Best incentive for sales is good commission pay and good company culture that is constantly being cultivated over time.

doesn't the micro mesh work like a fine sifter? after a while wouldn't it get just plugged up like a sifter does?

Many do. And that's the main reason we don't sell this along the beaches, because the sand will make that happen. There's no such thing as a maintenance free gutter guard. But in my experience this is the closest to it.
