Ceramic Coat everything! I did this the day after I got my '23 VB. Full decon, clay bar, 2-day garage cure for 2 coats of ceramic. Took the wheels off and coated them too.

Don't have to called it VB. People can always tell if you're new to subaru when you call them VB, VA etc. If you're not new to subaru and still call it that...then wow.

Pan the organizer is a car detailer on youtube from canada. He has lots of good tips on how to care for your cars paintwork in salty winter conditions.

:) Personally, I put mine away. It's not my daily and Subaru's general body and trim longevity and winter / salt corrosion reliability is far from spectacular. Actually, Subaru under frames and suspension pieces are quite prone to early and expensive degradation.

Snow tires are essential, doesn’t matter what the drivetrain is all-seasons are worthless outside of states like Georgia and the Carolinas. It’s amazing how many people I’ve run into in upstate New York who think all seasons are fine here with AWD. They’re not. If you’re one of those who questions this do some research. If want to risk your own health and property that’s your business but not having good snow tires in places like NY will put everyone else on the roads with you at risk. Especially if you think having AWD is a ticket to drive like the roads are dry when there’s snow on the roads. Even with snow tires that isn’t the case. One more thing, if you are changing the width of your tires in the winter the last thing you want is to wider. The narrower the better when there’s snow or slush on the roads. You want tires that will bite THROUGH the snow, especially slush. Having wider wheels will give you less traction in snow, and ESPECIALLY slush. This is fairly easy to research, but just thinking about it should be enough.

What wheels are those?

Leave the sports car for nice weather and get an awd suv for winter.

@@AutoEnthusiast out here where I’m at in winter it doesn’t snow lowest temps we see are the early 40’s. I mostly garage my sti for the summer though. 120-130 during the day and between 105 and 109 at night.

When they first came out, I thought they were fugly. Fast forward to last July, I ended up buying one lol. They definitely grow on you

@@AutoEnthusiast Na. I traded my 2023 back to a 2015 cause the 2023 is ugly. The interior was nice though.

Hard disagree. They look better than the VA imo. Plus, they are built/tuned way better from factory.
