HOW TO PREPARE YOUR HORSE TO TRAIL RIDE
Үй жануарлары мен аңдар
I love taking my horses out on the trail, but for some people it can be intimidating. The best thing you can do for your horse is to be confident. Your mindset is key because if you go out there and you're nervous your horse will sense that. Make sure you know how to make their first and every experience a good one.

Isn’t she something?
Thanks that was a great video I love your approach if they get nervous on the trail. And mariposa is gorgeous
Gorgeous horse - great advice too
I agree 9 times out 10 the reason the horse acts out is because the rider is expecting it to because they are already nervous over doing something new with their horse the horse will follow the leader

Thanks for watching!
Hermoso caballo y muy bonito lugar me encanta.
I did the same with one of my horses when he was two years old. If you ask me, I would ride two years old all day long for as long as I can put one foot in front of another. They're just sweet.

Great idea. We will try and do it!
Do you generally prefer snaffles for trail work? Or does it just works better with this mare?
Gorgeous mare. Why braid her tail so she can’t swish flies?
Where is this? I’ve been looking for some places to tail ride with my horses.
High performance horses need " time off" from competition. It's good for their brains and relaxation.
Your mare looks like my mare’s twin sister!!!

beautiful horse..what brand of saddle is that?

Thank you! It’s an Andy Maschke. All my saddles are made by him. Check his website out at www.am-saddles.com
I think it's also important, especially if you are out trail riding by yourself, to wear a helmet. You are in an unpredictable environment, and no matter how much control you have over your horse, anything can happen and in the event of an accident you must protect your head!

it's a riders choice -_-

@@horsegurl256 It's not a choice to have your brains splattered on the ground, but yeah ok, weed out the ones who "choose".

I don’t discriminate!
Are you and your wife the owners of the stable?
loose cinch
You have the reiners slump. Sit up straight. You're tipped too forward with your head down. Looks amateurish!
