HOW TO PREPARE YOUR HORSE TO TRAIL RIDE

Үй жануарлары мен аңдар

I love taking my horses out on the trail, but for some people it can be intimidating. The best thing you can do for your horse is to be confident. Your mindset is key because if you go out there and you're nervous your horse will sense that. Make sure you know how to make their first and every experience a good one.

I agree 9 times out 10 the reason the horse acts out is because the rider is expecting it to because they are already nervous over doing something new with their horse the horse will follow the leader

I did the same with one of my horses when he was two years old. If you ask me, I would ride two years old all day long for as long as I can put one foot in front of another. They're just sweet.

I think it's also important, especially if you are out trail riding by yourself, to wear a helmet. You are in an unpredictable environment, and no matter how much control you have over your horse, anything can happen and in the event of an accident you must protect your head!
