HOW TO PREPARE FOR A ROUND THE WORLD TRIP ON A MOTORCYCLE - Part 2
How to prepare for a round the wold trip on a motorcycle? This is my second video in which I cover topics such as the gear on my bike, motorbike clothing, tools and spare parts, motorcycle's transport, shipment of tires and sponsorship.
In April 2017 I left Australia for a solo trip around the world on a BMW F800GS. I named it “Are We There Yet” because I don't know my final destination or the duration of this journey.

Very good advices kinga , thank you again for this 2nd part , very nice idea for the double cable clutch !! All the best , stay safe !
The best compilation of relevant advice, tips and know hows ever! I enjoyed both part 1 and part 2 very much. Awesome tip of a spare clutch cable readily installed and also enjoyed your sharing of your tools and gear that you use. Awesome awesome awesome!
Such a helpful video Kinga, thanks for your input, definitely will apply several of the tips you gave us... Looking forward to see your adventures again!
Useful and straight forward advice that every adventure biker would do well to take note of - thanks for making the effort to put the 2 vids together.
loving the lock down content Glad to hear you are safe in Poland.
Great, honest and informative video. Always like the addition of some outtakes on all your vids too. X
Thank you Kinga for yet another amazing video !! Keep well and take care.
Drive save , Kinga. We are all following you. Thank you for your honesty. Dejan
The best thing you carry is your spirit of adventure. But the clutch cable is brilliant!
Hi, Kinga. Thank you! Your videos really make this quarentine less boring. The adventure is fantastic and I'm sure that you've been inspiring lots of bike lovers. In this "how to prepare" episodes, please show your camping gear and how do you pack them. All the best!
Thanks for another great insight video Kinga, makes the long days in lock down more bearable, stay safe.
Thanks for sharing, always enjoy all your video's and your experienced advice.
Well done Kinga! I run the C Bow- Hepco Becker system, which I've used on 3 bikes now. Obviously the brackets are unique. I love them for the same reason's as yourself plus you're not overloading the bike & less weight the hard panniers. Mine probably not big enough for your type of travelling though. There were quite a few upgrades to the BMW. I had not upgrades but accessories I needed to add to my Ducati Scrambler to bring it up to spec for any sort of comfortable touring. Previously I had a Himalayan which although a bit heavy for a 411 cc and not overly powerful, in terms of a complete set up which is very useable as is without spending a lot of money on it, they are brilliant. Highly highly underrated. Thanks for sharing your video-
Another great video! Thanks for all the great tips! Be safe and take care!
Really...really enjoyed these videos!! Keep well, looking forward to seeing you on the road soon! Hello from CANADA!
Useful information for any one who has in mind to travel with you , I’ve got them all ready to follow you right now Can’t wait to see when you hit the road ❤️from 🇮🇷

Love the clutch cable, neat idea
You're the best! I've been on probably 70,000 km of long range riding over 4 continents in the past 3 years -- as a part time rider. 90% of your info I have lived with personally -- but 10% is just fantastic new information. I have so many questions regarding my next trip I sent you about Africa -- but your 2 part video is amazing.
I'm a fellow KZreadr, recently subscribed. I've really enjoyed following yours and ItchyBoots travels, taking me places I'll never visit. I have a serious heart condition and came back to the bike a couple of years ago. I now ride a Monster 1200R. Keep up the great work Kinga andi hope to see you riding again soon once Corona has passed.

Good Job Bridgestone for sponsoring Kinga! Bridgestone tires really are a great tire in all weather conditions! I highly recommend the Bridgestone Battlax Hypersport S20 tire for a sportbike!
Kinga, excellent video, very enlightening, helped me a lot. A can't stop watching your videos, they are wonderful. Thak's. I'm Brasilian. Sorry my English no so good. I hope for more videos.
Very interesting and informative video, thanks. You obviously, have a lot of mental toughness and positivity which would a be real attribute for a round the world trip. Hope you are well and coping with the lockdown.
I Love this serie and those tips are really helpful. Looking forward to see you on the road again. Would be good to hear some tips of how do you plan the route.
I love so much your adventures. Ten years a go I had a very bad crash. Till now I can't recuperate my mobility/motricity. And could not ride a heavy bike any more. I hope, before I pass away, to ride once more , even if it just a little trip around my country ( Morocco). Wish you the best for your adventures. Ride safe. You surely inspire many peoples to go on adventure. Thank you for sharing with us, what you live during your trips. Sorry for my bad English. ✌🤘

@@onherbike thank you so much. My best wishes for your coming adventures. May God the Powerful, protect you and makes your adventure's dreams realized. ✌✌✌
I just recently subscribed because your channel was offered after I watched an Itchy Boots episode. Think I will go back to the beginning and binge watch the whole series.
Huge respect, Kinga! I would probably never dare to go to many places you went. Stay safe and healthy. Happy Easter! @21:30 totally agree! An good off-road training on your bike ( the one you are riding ) gives you idea what you and your bike can really do. And what you can't ;). You will be amazed! This will give you knowledge and confidence. You will be less stressed => less tense => you will fall less often. :) Many major motorist associations offer trainings - check in your area.
Awesome content!!!! Wish I had subscribed by the time you crossed Uganda. Amazing insights!!! Keep up the good work.
That great advice someone gave you on the clutch cable. Great episode!

Kinga, You are truly a "KING" within the women adventure bike traveler, just like to know where do you get the drive and energy to keep going as beside the exciting adventure, you hardly take any breaks since I have followed your adventures since you started it. These two parts informative and recent tips have been very helpful, but I don't trust the world as much as you do, so stay safe.
We wish you success in your upcoming trips.👍
Very informative content, and very practically too. Keep it up motorcycle traveler guru ❤️. Salute from Dubai
Love your channel and follow you since your travels in Australia. I only have to say that I had a very bad experience with Forma boots. Cheers from Perú.

I really like every yours video! You are great! keep upp great job! greatings from Sweden!
Great tip "the clutch cable spare"!!!
Hi Kinga, my admiration for what you are doing and I really admire you. I am from Bulgaria, and if your path ever brings you here, you can count on support. Greetings
Having double clutch cable i think its very helpful.esp for long ride and the other thing is we need to gain knowledge in mechnical experience .
Some good tips. Thank you!
You should add the smallest pair of micro grip mini vise grips and a safety link for your chain. Rubber boots for front forks. I did a bit of traveling in the late 1970's, JB Weld epoxy and cable ends with set screw comes in handy too. Never clean sheilds with paper towels....they scratch them. Always replaced my headlight bulbs with off road higher wattage ones. They always state not for highway use, but never had anyone check them.
This is all great info, thanks!
thanks for wonderful sharing.. keep it up
Good tip from the extra clutch! The only thing I would add would be a narrow tube to transfer gasoline from one motorcycle to another if necessary. (so you don't have to use the camelbak tube). Good videos and good trip
Bloopers are great! I'm hook on OHB
Hi !! thx a lot for all your very interresting feedback about your experiences. all the best and hope we will be able to come back to roads and tracks soon ! :-)
I would agree 100% Forma boots are the best boots
I'd recommend adding a pair of ViseGrips to your tool kit. They have many uses. Clamp, wire cutter, shift lever, ... If you ever run over the wire left from a burnt tire it will wrap around the axle so tight it will stall the bike. Very difficult to remove. I also carry a metal cutting and wood cutting Sawzall blade and you can use the ViseGrips for a handle.
Good guide suggestions to long drive
This is my dream to drive around the world using a motorcycle go to different places but the reality of life strikes me money and family need to support maybe someday even in a simp lies way i can achieve my dream thank you for the videos you upload and the adventure and tips more power and keep safe ✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻
Hi Kinga, tnx for fine Tipps, take care, kind regards :-) R.W.
Nice presentation👌... very informative👀... All the best👍... stay safe🙏...
Thanks !! Good information.
Nice video & nice experience
At 9:38 Where did you find that gorgeous model? Ahem......At 11:03 those boots! Well worn veterans of the world! Did you know, the young Picasso briefly retuned home. While he rested from the trip, his mother cleaned his sandals for him. When he got up he was outraged over the loss of the dust and evidence of his journey. 😉 This is the best information series on tour prep I’ve seen. Informative, detailed, and fun to watch. Love your humour! Stay safe, happy, and helpful!
Excelente trabajo saludos desde Argentina 💖🤙

Kinga, Always an awesome video, very informative, great info passed on through your experiences while on your incredible journey, is North America in your future plans
From Portugal and North of Lisbon where I am living, I am a follower of 100% of their posts / videos I do not miss any. Here are my congratulations for the boldness, congratulations for the desire for adventure, congratulations for the explanations and teachings and for everything that transmits to us, a great determination and a great desire to live. I would like to ask you if you can answer me if it is in your plans to go through Mozambique, South Africa and go up to Angola. If you pass, I intend to tell you if you want some beautiful places that you will love in Angola where I lived 20 years of my youth and where I still have friends. Thank you very much for the opportunity that offers us to see such beautiful landscapes. May everything go as you wish, have a very good trip, with the calm of a traveler, enjoying the beautiful pleasures of life, take care, good luck.
Fantastic, the best. Thanks
Yo Kinga you certainly have given us some sound advice flower 💐 on your video’s one n two ( excellento ). Your very fun loving and have a natural ability to communicate wi other people, good on ya 😁. You can even be crazy 😜 sometimes ha har but hay it brings a little light heartedness to life as there’s a lot of negativity going on in the world 🌎, keep it up 👍 girl yr doing great Chuckee. Very helpful video.
Great video as is normal, have often wondered about the history of you and riding, some of the places you go amaze me. Your skill set is not a new rider so how about it in the next video! Enjoy following you for your skill, humor and the old jumps .
Good and honest video 💯 👍 take care 🥰
Another subject you should cover is non-motorcycle clothing and laundry. I use to backpack a lot and that was one subject I find no one covers. My first time I over packed clothing and 3 months later realized I was carrying stuff I still hadn't worn. People should know how little you really need to carry.
you are a very brave and pretty woman. Keep yourself safe xx
Very helpful thanks
Really informative Thank You Kinga
You are quite interesting indeed and very fun to follow. I love the comment where you specify that even as influencer, you must remain straight, true and honest with the comments on gears or anything else. I feel you are such a women; A TRUE PERSON. it shows in all of your videos and this is what keeps me interested. one of the comment, by JUST IN, says he noticed the camel gas tank. I did too but mostly, I noticed your freshly colored hair at 17:35 which look more of cinder than ''blonde'''. Stay safe and keep entertaining us !
awesome adventure be safe now ...
Great vids, thank you.
There were a couple of surprises, but this is basically how I would prepare a F800GS. I met a lot of people that couldn't place my origins on a map, but I had only recently discovered their location. A lot of people I met never left 'home'.
