Secret is to keep your hair hydrated. Don't be afraid to walk around with damp hair. It's dry hair that breaks and split ends easy. Hair with split ends won't grow as much as it should.

+byPuppet Yeah I always kept the sides faded while growing the top. You'll go through rough stages where you'll feel cutting it off because it seems hard to maintain and style, but keep growing it !
