@@DaytradeWarrior just started watching your videos. Thank you very much for your knowledge. It's very helpful to us newbies. I was watching JTAI today, check that chart out incase you weren't in it. Big false breakout between 3:30 -4pm. She took a nose dive. Dec 11/2023. Just adding to the themes , I've noticed that too. There was also the NFT's (TKAT being the monster. The ever popular Weed/Pot stocks, Bio therapeutics were hot Dec 2022, they're hot again in this Dec. Data and FDA news. Drones were hot at 1 point with the wars going on.
All this information is great...for the market-maker analysts and developers, to fine tune their algo's to anticipate the 'anit-trap' bunch that you will make of everyone watching this video. Everything you teach will end up as an improvement task for the well paid engineers to build into their trap-bots. It's just feeding frenzy for the big boys. But anyways, I love these discussions, so nice to see people getting together to share their experiences 🙂

Great episode Ross im going to be more weary of my entry's now perhaps a 7 cent - 15 cent or a 57 cent [ 65 cent mark with room to climb might be a better entry mark than say a 90 cent mark. and if im already long at a 90 cent mark that might be a good time to scale out before the possible resistance ahead and if i break through to 7 cents perhaps look to add to my position.

Yes! That's one of the things that I haven't fully understood. I'd like to learn more about that, too. I heard people say they could tell on the "time and sales"/ Level 2 that there was a hidden seller, but I'm not really sure HOW they can tell this. EDIT: Now I see that the explanation in this video at the 4:25 -5:25 minute mark is pretty good, and it helped to answer my question. Still, I would be interested in more detials in a video just like you suggested.

When you see shares added to the ask and the price cant break through. Normally you see share size at the ask and it gets chopped down. When see shares added thats a hidden seller

hello Ross, false breakout is always very puzzle for me. I always want to ask Ross that: when the price is go up to whole/half dollar or resistance price, after it breaks, what exactly do you observe in that split second to help you to detetmine the price is going up or going reverse? I think this is a crucial question in day trading, and I hope Ross can personally answer that or do a episode for this to get in more detail.

@@pencilcheck don't buy at that level if already in look to scale out until you broken well through to the other side say 6 or 7 cents then perhaps scale back in. Don't think there's no correct answer that fits all just seems to be a cautionary one as is trading in general.
Hi Ross, For news trades in the morning , this happens where sometimes I will grab some shares of a stock that has good news as soon as it comes out and it doesn't move /few buyers come in, I will get out at even, there is no volume then 5 mins later a huge stick will pop up and move the stock high. Why does that happen and how can I trade that better? and does this happen to you?

That will vary based on your strategy, Ross usually waits for volume before jumping in, unless it's a hot market.
How do you figure out what sticks you want to invest in? I have been doing a lot of research and just looking at the stocks around is overwhelming

He uses stock scanners that show stocks that are moving up quick amongst other indicators, there are free ones online, or you could go on youtube and look for people streaming stock scanners since good ones are paid.

I wish you have graft or some something you can show to us newbies that is trying to learn. This sounds like French to mean. I am trying to understand, but I am sure some of your students may feel the same as I am. Example please…. I would like to join your group one of this day. I am researching, but can’t make the decision to do anything right now. Like I say, I am a newbie, I find you are very informative, sincere, helpful, And easy to understand. I will continue to look for your videos. I recommend you to my friends and even family. But first of all, I have to understand and be doing it and show that I can make it. Another words, I still learning and not yet making that call. Help
