Never seen a roll of reinforcing mesh before. Done a little concreting here in Australia and engineers have generally specified F72 (which is 7mm bar X 200mm grid spacing). They are always in a rigid sheet 2.4m X 6m (8ft X 20ft). Interesting to see the difference over there.

Thanks Odell, I've learned quite a bit in a short time from your vids. I notice the old guy almost get in the way at one point, man I hate that. Is it wrong to tell a customer; "Sir, we charge double to watch and be in the way, or triple if you want to help". Kidding aside, when you're competent and confident, astute customers like him or even picky ones, will never bother you, and as I can tell he didn't bother you. Actually, the old guy even inadvertently helped out the video with a good tip, as a customer, checking the truck's load ticket, very smart. Take care, Imc

Beautiful work. Fiber or rebar highly recommended instead of wire mesh for slab on grade. The mesh sags with the weight of steel and is not in tension, thereby loosing it’s function. Also, changing from 3,250 psi to 4,500 psi is well intentioned but not a good idea. This because 4500 is a much stiffer concrete with more tendency to crack as the moisture evaporates. So you generally should not go overboard with a stiffer concrete if it is not required by the project. But, overall, an excellent job.
