Coolest Seiko Mod i have ever seen! Really something. Congratulations from Mexico City. Cheers!
I can almost smell it when you started polishing ❤
The after polish looks amazing as if its a new watch and ring. The Cape Cod has an amazing polishing content. Great! 👌👏
Good to see you back Darak!

Hi Juan, thanks, nice to see you again.
That watch man... Love it!
I use 'em. Love 'em. If you need to get out deeper scratches, I use Mother's Mag Polish with a Dremel and a cotton buffing wheel set to the lowest speed and then finish with a Cape Cod Cloth to get that mirror-like-new finish. Of course, avoid brushed surfaces too, although, one or two gentle wipes and then remove with a microfiber towel can really improve the finish of the brushed surface too. You just need to use excessive restraint.
I've use this product for 10 years now and find it is the best. It will remove metal as time goes on, just as it removes scratches but it is very fine polish. For me, cleaning the Cape Cod off of the watch is easier with alcohol. It cleans between the cracks and links very well. I dry with a fine cloth that will not scratch my work. Thanks for the video and your process.
Beautiful watch I must say
Nice angle and info! I would suggest tape up the brushed part if polishing area lose to it.
Waw.. good job
Great info. I have a turtle case that has some light scratches on the side from laying it down that way. I'll give it try. Keep up the great work. 👍👍

Hi Replica, thanks.
Instead of a tissue paper, if you use a microfiber cloth, and buff it to remove polishing compound, you will get no fogging and a brilliant shine. The microfiber and the rapid buffing, albeit minute, will also remove material. Wiping the polishing compound with a tissue paper gently means you are missing out on that final 'sanding step.

I have fogging on the steel I can only see under flashlight. What do I do about that?
Gonna use this to take off the gold plating off my ring
use in cross hatch pattern and use a microfiber cloth to clean off. The less pressure the better
It's worth polishing. Just like with cars, as you go down the path of collecting watches, you become more careful with the handling so the chances of getting it scratched again is lower. I have many great watches that got scratches and dinks because I did not take good care of them and did not store them properly.
No issue with Cape Cod other than the price. Any proper metal polish will achieve the same or better results. Granted, the CC cloths are an all-in-one solution, however. Would definitely recommend using microfiber cloth vs tissue paper for final cleanup. Good video as usual.
Hi! I bought my first automatic watch a few months ago, which is a Seiko SRPB46J1, but unfortunately scratched it, even though I'm super cautious... I'm also an OCD person about that, do you think I could use some Cape Cod on it ?
can you use the cape cod cloth on titanium watches. minor scratch. Thanks.
Can I use it to polish my silver iPhone 12 pro?

Autosol for metal is more aggressive. Autosol for steel is less aggressive. I use them Both too. But I finish with cape cod.
Hey thank you for the video, is it okay to use said cod for pvd coated rose gold colored watch?

You will eventually take away the PVD coating and then it will have to be recoated. If that happens, it will look much worse.
I can see your face! Good job
Can you use cape cloth polish also for titanium watches ????

DJZROB ZOMBIE No Don’t do it. It will damage you’re finish. Just order polish pad Or use small piece of scotch from sink and rub it on way.(if you only have a brushed finish)
That is a beautiful watch, any tips on what part you used to mod it/ where to source them from!

How do i handle scratches on brushed steel?

If you’re talking about scratches on the watch case itself, better to have that done professionally when you take the watch in for service. They use machines to get the perfect factory-finished look on brushed steel that you will never be able to duplicate by hand. You could actually make it look much worse by making the attempt. If it REALLY bothers you, just take it to a jeweler or a watch repair service to have the work done is the watch is that important to you. If you have minor scratches on the bracelet, there are things you can try, such as a scotch-brite pad. There are loads of KZread videos to demonstrate.
hi, can i use this on the back of my watch is it safe on the text, have light scratches ?

Yes it wont remove it!
Can Cape Cod damage the crystal on my watch? I wanna polish a portion of the bezel on the face, and am worried it might rub against the glass a little. I’ll prly just tape it off, but asking just in case.

Depends what sort of crystal. Plexy … it will polish it as well. Mineral will be fine but not hard pressure on the glass. Sapphire crystal is almost as hard as diamond. Cape cod will no effect on it.
Hello ! Did the polishing leave lots of small dots on the surface ?

Hi Alpina, no, if you see a lot of small holes or dots, that this due to bad casting.

Thanks for the reply.I was thinking about this, but I really can't understand how they would form, considering that I gently wiped the side of the case (removed just a tiny layer of material, just to make the initial scratch less noticeable) without creating other bad scratches. The watch is an Invicta pro diver.
I just received Cape Cod Polish Co Metal Polishing Cloths Foil Pouch 0.53oz, Stainless Steel form Amazon. I had some rub marks inside my Rolex clasp and a couple of hairline scratches on the lugs. The cloth didn’t remove anything, I tried it several times. Very disappointed.
Even after using Cape Cod cloth. If you look closely it creates very tiny micro scratches. Don't believe me? Look closely in the sun! You heart will sink. Removes bigger scratches and creates little ones.
Haha yes guilty 😂 ocd for life
the watch ⌚ is new 😂 why you polishing her 🤷♂️ idk
What is up with them little finger condoms? Lol
That's the worst. EVERYONE DO NOT DO THIS TO GOLD WATCHES! IT WILL RUIN THEM.

@ORenee try a buffer wheel. I tried that and left my watch with scratches.
