Can I repoint after re bedding a verge few days ago

Not really it’s best to point it the day you do it. If you put a thin layer of cement over the verge when the frost finally hits the cement work it will just start flaking and cracking and look like a mess.

I always use a 3 sand 1 cement mix. I prefer to use ready made mixed sand. Has a small quantity of shard sand in it to make the cement stronger and firmer to work with. Also no plasticiser.

@@ffortezza2402 in builders merchant they might have bags of mixed sand which is a mixture of sharp and soft but if you can’t get hold of this then soft builders sand will be ok.

Great video mate. You got any jobs going? I've been a slater/tiler for 30 years but have always been on price working for a firm. Everything has to run at 100mph to earn decent money. I'd love to slow it all down to get more job satisfaction. Love watching your vids 👍
