What with my favorite female singer being Margot Timmins, it might seem understandable that I didn't feel the same strong connection with Mrs. Franklin's voice and delivery as most people. As a person, I REALLY liked her for her down to earth attitude. I think the woman she played in _The Blues Brothers_ is probably pretty close to who she really was. The song was written for Aretha Franklin by Carol King, and until Aretha's death, I did not know she sang it. I've always loved King's album _Tapestry_ . Essentially those are my two favorite female singers: Carol King and Margot Timmins.

Aretha Franklin was a wonderful person. BUT NOTE!!! Aretha did NOT write Natural Woman. Natural Woman was written by another amazing song writer and performer Carole King. To suggest that Aretha wrote the song is just completely wrong. Since you already know this why are you trying to misguide the public?

We're not trying to misguide anybody, haha. This is Aretha's VERSION of the song - not Carole's. You'll notice that Carole King is credited in the first line of our description for clarity. :)
