    TheBushwooky Thanks for the compliment! Actually I'm quite proud of the 37K subs I have :-) I guess most online teachers have more lessons, have a longer online presence, or simply have better lessons or are personalities people have a click with. But I welcome anyone who wants to spread the Your Guitar Workshop gospel :-D

    Sober greetings that may not belong, but anyone know how SACRED this stuff used to for us? -Much later, with maybe 14 years, you sat in a row and one of them guys (or more like boys..) could just about somehow dingle the first bars and so he became the vision we craved for, hallelujah..

    starting at 2:00 your tab says you should play 3h5p3p2 but you play a slide like this: 3h5p3s2. why do you slide? why no double pull off?

  • @Yourguitarworkshop

    @Yourguitarworkshop

    9 жыл бұрын

    Marco Schmitz good question! It has been a while since I made this tutorial and perhaps I've seen a video at the time where I saw hetfield play that slide so I checked about 15 videos and all of them have no camera on hetfield in the beginning. Many things are played differently compared to the original tabbooks. (though I'm sure I make mistakes too) I think you can play which one you prefer. I must have been doing it for a reason but I can't find a video at the moment that shows that part. Also, sometimes I play back parts slowly and once in a while you hear that things are played with a different technique than what is written but I don't have my gear here so I can't check now, sorry...

  • @Yourguitarworkshop

    I honestly don't remember. I do know I used a preset called "80's solo" in guitar rig as a basis and did very little to change it I think.
