Learn how to play the 'Watermelon Man' by Herbie Hancock on saxophone with 3 example versions using increasingly complex concepts.
For the beginner version, only the melody is played at a slower tempo. For the intermediate version, there is a mix of pentatonic scales and common jazz language used with a 16 bar transcribed solo. For the advanced version, there is the use of typical jazz language and double-time 16th note lines.

    @@OnlineSaxAcademy Just in case you run out of ideas, may I suggest a video on fast chord changes like "The Flintstones" for example. How to navigate through a chord changes structure would also be cool...😬

    Can we just add two extra bars at the to make the end of the round clear (at jams where people are confused by the weird structure)? One more measure of the I, then a NC measure? Then it's so obvious that the round is starting over.
