I didn't know that it was a race to 500 points. What we have as a rule is that if you're the first one to play all your cards, you win, that's it.

Remember, play of the Draw 4 Wild card is only legal if there is no other available card in your hand that matches the color of the card that was most recently played. If you believe someone played a Draw 4 Wild card on you illegally, you may force a challenge on that player. If the player being challenged is guilty, he/she must draw 4 cards. If the player being challenged is NOT guilty, the player who initiated the challenge must draw 6 cards (4 for the cards required to be drawn, and 2 for failing the challenge).

When I played uno we played by different rules. When a player had no cards in their hand to play, they had to keep picking until they had a card to play then that is played. Also, scoring was not based on what is left in everyone’s hands, but rather we usually kept playing until there was only one person left

We play it that way too. That's what I taught my son 😊

I usually play the same kind if way. Except for when you dont have to card to place down, you keep on picking a card untill you match the card, that way the game last longer and more fun ti play because it's always unpredictable because you may never know when your have to end up drawing like 15 cards from the deck lol

but that way u re probably gonna run out of the deck before the game ends and maybe for a couple of times. and its annoying to need to shuffle the deck ind the middle of the game

i have a question, can i play/put card after i play DRAW 4 card after i declare color. example ; i play DRAW 4, next player must draw 4 from deck then skipped their turn then i declared RED, after i declared can i immediately put Red card in my hand.

Maybe i missed it but what if a red +2 is thrown down, the next left person gets 2 more cards from deck. Now the next player to throw down a card is it possible to throw a +2 blue or green or yellow? Or does it have to be red card???? The last card facing up is +2 red

I had never heard of UNO until after I graduated high school. It was then that I realized I had been playing a bootleg version of the game in high school without knowing it. (late 1970s). It makes sense to convert the game to a regular deck of cards instead of buying a specially marked deck since everybody usually has several decks of playing cards laying around the house. I don't remember much about the rules except that aces, twos, fours, sevens and tens did something, I think. Also, when I played the game in high school (late 1970s) we called it "Crap on Your Neighbor" which I think is a better name than UNO anyway. 🙂

No mention of the challenge on wild 4. From the UNO website: If you suspect that a player has played a Wild Draw 4 card illegally, you may challenge them. A challenged player must show his/her hand to the player who challenged. If the challenged player is guilty, he/she must draw the 4 cards. If the challenged player is not guilty, the challenger must draw the 4 cards, plus 2 additional cards.

You can put a +2 on top of another +2 as your matching it and other player have to pick up 4

@Gather Together Games I've seen a variation of this at 3:13 where Player 2 would play the Green 2 and then also play the Blue 2. Iin other words playing multiple cards that match what is in the discard pile. Playing a combination. This version seems to only allow players to play one card at a time.

The only thing that i dont understand is if a person won and has 70 points then what should we do because you said we need 500 points to win but they got rid of all the cards.

If the first Discard flipped up is a Wild Draw 4, simply shuffle it into the Draw pile and flip up another card.

We played different rules, if you have a the same number but different color you can put the 2 of them and if you"ll draw +4 then the other had a plus, the one who had no plus will totAl all the plus and give the card

Tks for the work. One question, if wild card tuned at the beginning. Player 2 states a color, however he can play a card for that color or not? Meaning he only says a color then player 3 continues. As if the beginning card was his? Or he can drop a card, the color he says of course.

You didn't cover the part for reversed card clearly. So if the card drawn is reversed, will the play reverse anticlockwise just one turn or for the rest of the game until another reverse card is drawn to reverse it again clockwise?

I am not good at Uno, even though it's easy and simple. However, I've used Uno cards to play Blackjack and I appear very good at it.

I have two questions. If we do not have something that matches to the card drop by the previous player we have to get a card from the center, then if it matches with the previous one can I put it down or I have to keep it? My second question is when do I need to shout UNO? Is it when my card is only one?

If you don't have a match, you draw a card. If the drawn card can be played, you put it down. You will shout UNO when you have 1 card left in your hand.

Jeff Kealy the person asked if they could play multiple 4’s from different colors in 1 turn Let’s say they as 2 green 4’s and 1 red 4. They asked if they could put all 3 4’s down in 1 turn. They guy responded by saying that you can only play a single card a turn.

Very nice video Just 3 question 1. If player previous to me has played +2 and if I have another +2 of any color can I play it? 2. If anyone has last card to play it it should be same number or same color . Right? 3. If someone wrongly played +4 and that time no body called check and later we got to know it was a wrong move as he still had playable cards. What to do?

Say it when you put down your second to last card. If you let someone else say it before you can you will have to draw 2 cards.

how we play uno: 10 cards each player no card being flipped at the beginning we throw not only one card but all card with similar numbers at each turn example if the card is 3 green and I have 2 3s of blue and red I can throw them both also if I throw 3 stop cards and there are 4 players, all 3 would be skipped and it would be still my turn, we even combine reverses and stops 😭😭😭 when +2 is thrown, next player gets 2 cards and still can throw a card if we don't have a card to throw according from the pile, we keep getting cards from the deck until there is one throwable card if one player finishes all cards, the others can still continue to play, we didn't know there's a scoring we can stack +2 cards no matter the color (or is this official? cuz I searched in google and it said no) and we can also throw multiples of it in a single turn we played it so wrong

can I put the low number like (4 red) on the high number (6 red)?

Nope, stacking draw cards is a common house rule which most people believe is real because they never opened the rule book.

im so confused like how does blue and yellow match the same colour like i saw the wiki how version of how to play and they said if the card matches by number, u can place it and same with colour but for number it was 1 and 5 then for colour it was yellow and green, HOW DOES THAT WORK

Say the current top of the pile is a green 5. I can now play either any green card OR a 5 of any color. It doesn’t need to match both requirements just one.

Nope those are house rules. You know the game monopoly? Just like that it’s been house rules into oblivion and people teach those house rules to people as if they were actual rules and most people think they are real rules now

You forgot a rule:When a draw 2 is played,the next player may play another draw 2/draw4 if they have one,but they dont draw cards,the next player may also play a draw 2.when you get to a player that cant play,they must draw cards added to the number of draw 2 cards in the discard pile.
